So, after playing on Crimson Strait yet again, one of the maps I usually like playing on, I encountered a new thing that has been growing of late. People jumping all the way up on the center mountain. It was fine before people learned to get up there with jumpcapabale mechs. Now the issue at hand is that you can jump up there and fire down on mechs that can not fire back at you, which really annoys many players, me included.
I would like to see a change to that, since in my opinion it brakes the map.
You probably would suggest for me to hide under the platform or in the tunnel. Yes I could very well do that, but that also gives the other team an advantage if they can deploy a few mechs on top of the mountain, forcing the other team into a small cramped area, to be picked of by the other team surrounding them? Doesn't sound good to me.
The issue is the fact that you can be engaged in a firefight on top of the platform, when all of a sudden LRM's and PPC fire start raining death from above and you being spotted constantly. This is specially bad when some of the heavier mechs with many PPC's can shoot in the backs of the mechs engaging from the platform. This becomes an issue when you can't fire back at the ones up on the mountain, to force him to take cover, or go deal with it, unless you try and run up the mountain with a jumpcapable mech only being able to so from a few places. There was a reason they modified River City to exclude the mountain at B1-C1 borderline.

I hope the devs take note of this, so we can enjoy the map far better.
