Yeah, I thought it had 3 slots originally. Got a nip toasty with that setup too! Love to see it with DHS.

(apologies for being testy on your earlier post. A lot of people have been begging to get this variant back, so even though it's recycled, it's very appreciated by some of us)

It has a RA that could carry an AC/20 and 2 missile points in the LT. Back in Beta you could jam a 350XL engine in it and have some serious fun, but now it will be slow.

Still that big AC and 2 SRM6s with a very tight shot pattern and the legendary Centurion tankyness will make for a good brawler.

Yep, sounds like fun. 100% ammo dependent though? No energy at all?

None. I run my ON1-VA that way, too.

Am hoping against hope it's the 3x Missile original, considering how hardpoints have exploded since CB. 3x aSRM4 and ac20 yes please.

Tell you what, it's a free forum and all, but how about pisisng all over some other thread already full of negativity?

Seriously.
Why do people even complain about getting effing FREE stuff. They don't have to give us anything ffs.Ungrateful spoiled players. The mind boggles at the sense of entitlement.100% agree with Bishop here.

Yeah. Once you ran out of ammo you could only ram things at 118kph. Which was pretty funny in itself. Picture an armless Cent torso tearing around the map body checking every enemy in sight. It was almost as good as the Dragon at knocking things over.

Too bad we can't do that any more *sniff*.

This suggests that the the dynamic hardpoint visualization will make a pass @ the Centurion... which hopefully doesn't screw up that left missile torso (I fear what it could possibly end up with the Cent-A).

I've never been a fan of the aesthetics of the King Crab, But what it could do the another Mech was something totally different.

KGC-005r This simple field refit of the 005, a result of the Jihad and efforts to upgrade old designs with what was available, was introduced in 3071. By removing the large laser, one of the a Streak launchers, and a half-ton of armor, engineers were able to cram a Heavy PPC into the torso and upgrade the AC/20s to LB-X versions, each with three tons of ammunition. The remaining Streak system was reduced to a 4-tube launcher.[19] BV (2.0) = 2,335[20]
I can skip the Hvy PPC for a standard, but that is MY build for an Upgrade to BeeRockxs King in The BattleCorps.

Yay, another Cent to master - and the AH too! Haven't piloted one of those since back in CB :D

(Full disclosure: I have more seat time in CN9s than in any other 'mech - even my beloved Commandos!)

I feel genuinely sorry for the AS7-S...competing with the CN9-AH, KC and the Mad Dog, poor guy never had a chance.

Not as bad as it sounds. I ran with the 20 and triple Streaks. By the time I was out of ammo little remained for me to kill anyways. Still very hot without double heat sinks. Being slow was actually a benefit. Kept one from being too tempted to stray any distance from the Assaults that drew all the fire away from you.

Oh yeah. I even got asked in a group drop once why I kept bringing my Cent. Pointed out that we had won 19 of the last twenty-one games and I had died only twice.

Not I, but I do look forward to it, should be enough different to be fun. And that extra 5% boost means ,y AS7-D might have life outside Stock Matches.... though so far my RS is still my go to Atlas.

The Centurion back in the day was a joy to master. I guess I'll plop down some money (mostly for the 1/2 off mechbay sale) to collect the AH (30% bonus seems worthwhile as part of the "thank you bonus").

I did that once... but that was towards the end of the Cent-A Champ which I ended up selling (already mastered the Cents at long while ago). I could only bring myself to run an AC2 on it due to tonnage constraints...

ac20 and triple ssrm might be very good Guard Mech design for protecting assaults from Squirrels, just like it used to be!
