they're working on it, but the net code is pretty complicated I imagine. They've been working on it & payment methods for about 5 days now, so it must not be an easy thing to include.

I could be wrong but I think the al a carte purchases for Wave 2 is what was being asked. As in buying mechs individually from the new 4.

Russ's twitter said later this week. There's a good chunk of other stuff they're trying to get fixed which is why it's been delayed a bit.

They are not available yet.

When they do become available go to you profile page (you can see the button at the top right of this page) and you should see a bunch of options in white text, the 'Badges' is the left most one.....click on that and select whichever badge you would like

Do you mean the ability to upgrade your "A La Carte" purchases? If so you should be able to do that now....

How will we get our 60 days premium time for the Gargoyle package?

In the staggered release I see they have 54 days of it accounted for.

Usually the premium time with the packages just needs activating while your in the game. The 54 days on the staggered release are additional to the 60 days with the Gargoyle package.

I just realized what i like so much about this new package and it's the fact that smaller package buyers get access to quite a lot of extras, whereas before you got most of the extras only for the high package tiers.

So buying the fenris tier in september will give me 2 out of 4 faction bonuses and all the preorder stuff, which is awesome!

I've been looking periodically but the "activate" button isn't showing back up. If I have to wait for my current activated time to run out its gonna be a LOOOOONG time before I found out if something is wrong.

These are the original Clan warhorns of the Masakari pack.

More horns than not...except often more uh, other sounds.

The ones of the Wave 2 pack are described as actual cries/calls/roars/howls of said animals.
But there isn't a link yet.

It seems there are more rewards overall than the first wave packages, especially if this is your first preorder. King Crab if you go top tier of Wave 2, new Atlas, and all the other random stuff they are promising. Should be fun. I finally decided to get Man-O-War after realizing it qualified me for King Crab as well as the Atlas. This is my first preorder... I've only purchased MC prior to it.

I just came back after a little work related break. Saw the new packs, and wanted to purchase a Man-o-War package.

Clicked on "buy", and received a popup with "credit card" and "paypal". I currently have neither, refuse to do business with any company owned by eBay (paypal, partly due to a dispute 10 years ago where I got shafted by a seller on a 10$ item and they locked MY account, forcing me to offer alternative payment methods and/ or allow people to cancel their purchases for a total sum of 30,376 $US in damages to myself, which which played a part in my first bankruptcy.), and am most certainly not going to go through the entirely unnecessary process of applying for a cc just to be able to purchase mwo ingame content.

Until now, this was a complete and total non issue, now it appears to be a permanent deal breaker that`s not going anywhere soon.So, no Vulture or MoW pack for me because PGI apparently doesn`t want my money anymore..... too bad.

And even if they do change suit, I`m shafted out of at least the September bonus for sure by the time it happens. So I as a customer would be the one getting less than originally planned simply because the vendor couldn`t decide whether they want my money or not in a timely fashion and /or prefers heavily restrictive payment methods? TBH I think I`ll pass completely, thank you, because I`d use Western Union loooooong before I use Paypal or a CC.

I`ll just wait months for the one mech I truly wanted instead of having it 2 days ago like everyone else that was ready and willing to pay. Or much more likely, we`ll see each other again in december SO I don`t have to spend the next 3 monts being reminded of this every time I play for the next 3 months.So, I guess this is "Have fun, see you next year when I can actually purchase the mech that everybody else is allowed to purchase today"

Side note: only about 33% of germans have a CC at all, and are very protective private information. Therefore as a general rule the closer it is to paying cash the more likely we`ll be to use it, which is why so many of us use wire transfers for almost all international transactions. As I did until, well, now with respects to mwo.

With the kind of c-bills I have, there`s no need. All I have to do (and at this point CAN do) is wait for it. I just won`t be standing around here with my thumb in my patootie doing so, but will be giving money that would have gone to PGI to game developers that are actually interested in letting me pay them, like RSI or Blizzard

PS: I understand that this is a "side effect" of 86ing IGP. However, that information does nothing to help me, and every shoe shiner knows that one of the very the very worst things for business is a good customer that comes back waving a wad of cash screaming "Take my money!!", only to be told "No, YOU can`t buy from me anymore", without a decent reason.

While a decent reason is theoretically given (though I have my own personal opinion on how to do such things properly which would have alleviated such concerns well before the switch, but I`m not the one they asked), knowing that I am now more or less officially a second class customer that doesn`t need to be allowed to purchase something in a timely enough fashion to qualify for the same bonuses as others is really enough reason in and of itself to wash my hands of the entire product to be honest. I most certainly will not pay the same amount in October for something I was ready and willing to purchase in September and receive less for my money. Even if it`s "only" 30 days premium time, which is still a value of about 10 $US.

So essentially PGI has until the Morning of sep 30th to get this fixed, or offer people that weren`t able to pay an extension on the september bonus (haha, not!) or my money and the next 3 months of game time are guaranteed to be spent on competitor`s offerings instead, which leaves the time after that completely up in the air instead of firmly with MWO. It`s pretty easy to forget battlemechs entirely when you`re working on a world first kill in a new raid and winding down with space battles.....

Are you guys not able to get prepaid credit cards over there? I don't know if that would be something you'd happy with given what you've been through in the past, just throwing around ideas as I hate to see someone left out in the cold during these kinds of promotions.

As a non US citizen, yes. As a US citizen, no. Some sort of regulatory BS about US citizens not being allowed to have CCs issued from non US banks... tried a few times in the past, brickwalled on that every time, every bank / offer. Prepaid CC is the only form I would use, but since I`m not going to jump though the hoops of opening up a US based account from germany solely for that purpose, It`s got no wings.

And tbh I can probably be happy they haven`t closed my account on grounds of my citizenship as numerous european banks are already doing (a prudent reaction to the IRS acting like it owns the world and freezing their assets for not releasing information that their own governments aren`t even allowed to ask for).
