NARC Jenner FTW!!!! So glad we had the lance Challenge scored the way it was....got to relearn just how great the Founders Jenner really is. Now I need to get the other 2 so I can level up!

Yes I am going to try and bring that up internally next week.

When the full IS Quirk pass is done I think the founders mech's will all get a pretty good bump in play time.

oh....do tell us more, sir.

I have had a few good drops this weekend in my Founder's Jenner - about 25 all up but I will see if I can get those last 5 drops done tonight (Aussie time).

Bests results:

The comment by Paul says it all - "how did we get so surrounded..." :)

Hey Bishop - some good result there Sir!

Yes - I was running a few different builds with my Jenner and one with a narc can give some great results.

Felt very different (freedom!) running a Jenner with JJs rather than my Oxide which doesn't have any.

It is great to see that people have taken up and enjoyed this unofficial challenge.

Cheers to everyone!

The jenner F is one of the few lights currently used in competitive play. The founders one is pretty close.

Had some good games in my Founders Cat, but no screenshots. Had my best game in my CN9-A ( C ) where myself and another Cent rolled as a pair. I scored 4 kills, including a pair of Awesome and a Dire Wolf. Great teamwork on that one for both sides as well as a solid match ending 12:8.

I'm a terrible Founder. I played this week and meant to run all Founders mechs and... totally forgot.

I did run the Cat C1 and Hunch 4G a bit, but I found a Raven 3L loadout I fell in love with and ran it most of the weekend. Ever since the Raven saw it's geometry pass, the Raven 3L has saw a nice buff to it's second SRM launcher. 3MLasers and 2 SRM4+Art is now my new favorite loadout for that mech.

KDR shot up from 1.3 something to 2.35 over the weekend on the Raven 3L chassis. Makes me happy :)

I also had alot of great matches with my Founders mechs.
And the AS7-D is still good for a walk through enemy lines, it's far from being obsolete.
Jenner also still rocks with Beagle, 4ML and Streaks.
Also managed to surprise some with 200-250m range Catapult fights. Still a great and very maneuverable missile boat.
And the satisfying sound of blasing parts from a mech with an AC20 HBK never gets old :P

It was cool to see a large number of Founders mechs this weekend. :D

Did they buff this thing at some point? I don't remember it being able to tank so much damage. Sure I lose torsos often enough, but I love the Oh Crap reaction when someone sees an Atlas walking into their face. ;) Still a little humbug about how little firepower you can reliably pack into it though. I guess its strength is in its survivability.

Atlas can take some heavy beating, and it's certainly frightening if you see one walking towards you, hehe.
I still like the facemelting power of an AC20 on an Atlas.
I'm running mine with 2 LL, 2 ML, 2 SRM6 and an AC20, and if your team follows you instead of hiding behind the next best rock, you can wade into the enemy lines and devastate everything around you.
Got to have the patience to get into range though ;)

Could not play much due FPS drops recent patch. Luckily running a fresh install of DX solved a bit to a acceptable level.

I must admit going for a walk in the founders cat and Atlas was fun. But damn i forgot how much fun the Hunchi is. Awful Troll mech.
Going to do that more often from now on.

Well, seeing all these posts of Founder mech reports and experiences has warmed my heart. It has been good that players have enjoyed shaking off the dust covers and taking them for a spin and some mayhem.

It is nice to know that although these mechs were the first of MWO's mechs for players to use they can still bring the pain on the battlefield.

With rewards going up to 30% and Russ mentioning that they are being looked at for potential changes I can only hope we continue to see more Founders mechs in the future.

Cheers and thanks for all those Founders that have participated during the weekend.

Had alot of fun this weekend. Dusted off the AS7-D(F), pretty much turned it into a K (two ER large lasers, 2 medium pulse lasers, gauss, alrm20) and did well for the ten rounds I played it (6-4 W/L). Had the most success with my founders Hunchie though, AC20 with 4 tons of ammo going 89KPH is still very potent.

I had a great time this weekend. I dusted off my Catapult for some matches, but more importantly, I got to play with some really nice people. Glad I got the chance to play with you, Eboli, even if it was only 1 game. :)

Ran my Atlas for a few matches, it was a busy weekend so couldn't get a lot of matches in.

Favorite game there was a Jester who identified me, asked me if I was playing the Founders thing. I said yes and he said he was making it his job to defend all founders for the weekend. :) We won - and I survived. Walking CT survived with no armor, but there you have it - one of the jobs of the Atlas is to take fire as much as give it.

Stats: 3 Wins, 2 Losses | 6 Kills, 4 Deaths | Average Damage per match: 462.

I only got in about 15 matches sorry, but I love my AC/20. Got at least a kill each match with 4 being the highest.

No need to feel sorry Ngamok - it was a voluntary event and you still dropped a few times. All I wanted to do what to get a thank you type of acknowledgement to PGI re raising rewards from 25% to 30%. Also a lot of people had some fun doing it.

Cheers
