•CN9-AH The CN9-AH Centurion is a radical variant of the 'Mech, introduced in 2874, that removes the Autocannon/10 and the medium lasers and adds a single Autocannon/20 in the right arm with two tons of ammo in the right torso, somewhat reducing the long range capabilities in exchange for raw short-range

So it should have
3 Balistic hardpoints in the Right arm
3 Missile hardpoints In short its a free Wang battlemech.

So just playing around with my other mechlab:
1 AC 20
2 tons of ammo
LRM 10
1 ton of ammo
2 SRM 4
1 ton of ammo

Throw in 4 JJ because its a special anniversary Cent?

Assuming at least 3 missiles, I'm calculating an AC20 with 3 tons of ammo, and 3xSRM4 with 1.5 tons ammo, endo, DHS, and an XL 250.

A bit slow, but that's a nice punch, probably a good PUGwarrior, but not something I'd expect to take into comp matches.

Yeah. would probably go back to my old triple SSRM. Give some Light mechs a heart attack with those and an AC20.

I did run two Centurion AH configs:
the first did swap the LRM10 to 2 LRM 5s allowing 1t of more armor
and the version who give me my first kill in MWO (an Atlas) - 1 Gauss and 1 SRM6.
(NO XL because of repair costs)

The availability of Endosteel and Ferro Fibrous - will allow me to boost its firepower - and afaik the CN9-AH did had 2 Ballistic and 3 Missile Hardpoints - no Energy.

Without RnR and without the ability to be a Zombie - i will use a XL for sure. Not as fast as my YLW but with a serve punch - using Ballistic and Missiles

The CN9-AH was a glorious beast that I recollect fondly.

2 Ballistic slots in the Right arm, which only had the Shoulder and Upper arm actuators, so it could fit an AC/20.

3 Missile slots in the Left torso.

Of course, this was in a day when SRMs were truly brutal, the heads on Catapults were larger than the center torso, and engine restrictions were on the horizon or just arrived. I vaguely recall this being the the fast AC/20 you could have in the game at the time.

I'm not sure how well it would do in the current environment, but I kind of don't care - it was fun and I am ecstatic about its return.

I might actually not run the AC/20 on it (GASP)

I might run triple art-SRM-6's and an AC/5 :3

It was 3 Ballistic, 2 Missile. I remember it like it was yesterday before PGI snatched it from me.

3 Ballistic Hardpoints in the Arm for sure and 2 or 3 Missile Hardpoints in the LT - no Energy Hardpoints.
I belive it has 6 Hardpoints in total bcs every Centurion has 6 Hardpoints except the Hero YLW.

You can call that beast Clanslayer!

Are they really reintroducing the variant they ninja removed so they could sell it back to people as the first Hero mech?

Yes, they really are- and they're giving it away to thousands of customers for free WITH a hero mech-sized permanent C-bill boost and custom camo. Anyone who bought any MC ever gets one for free.

I think it's whomever bought MC since launch.

Russ, maybe someone has answered this, but are we going to see updated weapon meshes for the Cents with the -AH coming out?

Agree 100%. The whole basis of my request to bring it back is that the AH is very unique to the YLW. Very ammo dependent which gives it a nice punch, sets it apart from the others, and still provides a give-and-take alternative.

If it ends up being 3b/2m: a crit-seeker to play clean-up (pretend the AMS is a third machine gun)

You forgot to fit the SRM ammo. May have to drop the artemis for that.

Or just drop down to 4s. I usually like SRM4s better anyways.
