You cannot pilot any clan mech unless you are on a clan faction or clan daggerstar aka clan loyalist faction.

That is how CW will work at launch

Correction : You cannot play any mech of the opposing faction in Community Warfare matches. The PUG/Group queue is unaffected.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, before anymore quirks/nerfs are given to Clan tech perhaps instead the IS could have a buff to its heat sink cooling efficiency. This would allow for us to stay in the fight longer before having to cool down plus the Clans would still have their advantages when it comes to range, higher damage output per alpha, and survivability. I don't think this would be a fix all to the balance issue but it would be interesting to see how it effects it.

But that is kind of abhorrent to the lore; half of the tech advantage of the clans was 2-crit-slot DHS.

I could see IS Single Heat Sinks having a "higher heat capacity" or something, maybe. But IS should not be "more heat efficient" beyond their weapons generally producing less heat than Clan counterparts.

One thing everyone must learn about....it ain't about the mech....its about the pilot skills.

You can have the best mech with the best weapon loadout....if you don t know how to drive it....you ll lose.

IS DHS should be 2.0x, not the current 1.4x of a single HS. I'd personally like to fit them in the legs of my mechs as well.

I have seen lights run into a pack of enemys and try to distract them, but this guy didn't even try to fight. That meant the IS team was down a heavy from the start.

And on another match, a heavy and a medium did almost the same thing.. .clan got 3 kills early on (2 lights and a medium that tried to flank or something) and we had then moved on towards their main force... we come around the corner and the medium and heavy started to attack, then just stopped and stared at us... they were not disconnected as far as I could tell as they were moving a bit, but they almost just looked like they gave up and waited to die...

If I saw that in 2 of the 4 or 5 matches I played, then how many other matches had the same thing happen, which would mess with the win/loss stats?

Guess they done that for more ''Nerf the clans!!!''

I agree with DHS should equal double but IS heat sinks should be 3 slots

Russ for this is even be worth the data mine when are you going to make it Clan vs IS, as these abomination mixed drops are not goign to give you true data readings when u got firestarters for example rushing in to mop up direwhale's shredding things.

For pete sake, bring on the pure clan vs IS already,
