Well I got an email stating I bought it but if I go to the "Clan Pack" under profile and it still just shows the Masakari Package. Maybe the "instant goodies" will show up tomorrow.

In a few days could we get a metric for number of transactions done today? Ideally i would love to see transactions/server load for:
Founders
Phoenix
Sabre
Clan wave 1
Clan wave 2
first days, be interesting to see how badly we have killed the server (and well knowing if the server is load balanced with a few others, specs, etc) yes I am a web guy and this stuff is interesting to me lol

That is what this post is about, it will take at least one business day to complete (even a few more if demand stays high)

Best battlemech? Heck since the announcement the whole anniversary has been like kids getting free pony's left and right at Christmas.
I'm beginning to think IGP should have been paying PGI to do their marketing instead. Well played PGI.......well played indeed.

Yeah I only have the paypal receipt but I only bought the pack about 2 hours ago (10 AM GMT) so I guess the site is being really slow to update and inform customers of their purchases.

I wish that we got it immediately. I can honestly say they lost money from me several times now because of the lack of immediate delivery.
For example, at one point I had decided to buy the Timber Wolf pack in Wave 1 but then I got thinking that I might not even be playing the game in 3-4 months so decided to wait. Ended up only getting 2 ala carte, PGI lost $90 there.
At another time after the Clans had already release, I came home in a bad mood, was bored and needed a pick me up/distraction for that night so I decided to add a Ala Carte Dire Wolf to my collection however just as I was about to hit the purchase button I say the warning about it not being available to next business day. Obviously this wouldn't have allowed me to play the mech that evening so I hit cancel and by the next day, I had talked myself out of spending the money. Another $55 that PGI lost.
Same goes for right now. Hellbringer is my absolute favorite Clan mech and I am kind of bored with the game at the moment. If I got my Hellbringer immediately I would be spending $90 right now even though I don't really like the Koshi or Fenris. However since I have to wait until Dec to get access to it, which is obviously long enough down the road that major changes (nerfs) might have taken place that devalued the package in my eyes, I am hesitant to spend the money. Also like with my initial example, who really knows if am going to be still playing this game in 3 months. That being the case, I will probably just end up Ala Carting the Hellbringer a few weeks before release so another $35 PGI will have lost due to the delay in access.
Basically PGI is missing out on the impulse buy motivation that drives the gaming community. We most of us spend money, we want it now, not 3-6 months down to road. Too much can change in that length of time which makes spending money on future content risky.

I dunno about you, and other players like you, but it was an instant purchase for me. 120 smackers. Easy-peasy. And I don't care about the wait. Or the fact that things and people's opinions will change. As long as this game is still being developed, is still able to be played, and content paid for gets delivered, I will continue to give them my support.
Besides, it's my show of thanks for the fact they are being so generous with their gifts, and are involving the community more. For that, I will proudly be stomping around in a Mad Dog come the 23rd, and the rest of the mechs when they arrive - irregardless of their viability, hitboxes, or what have you.
