Not sure if it has been said by someone else but here are my thoughts and suggestion:

OK with IS $80 pack
Should be new mechs
Suggest Comstar Reinforcement Pack

We've been too focused on the great houses and clans. Those of us who've read the novels know Comstar is fully responsible for the victory at Tukayyid that halted the Clan advance. Why not give Comstar some credit by offering a mech pack dedicated to Comstar mechs?

Tukayyid is still like 2-3 years away. There's still a fair amount of fighting (and Comstar trying to ally with the Clans) before the whole proxy battle for Earth happens.

I would defiantly buy a $80 or $120 pack if it was new mechs, had some bonus' (Premium Time, mechbay, etc.). Unfortunately it will have to go to the IS only account.

Bring back founders and Phoenix packs... wtf ...they are /were ment to be LIMMITED EDITION , once off, never to be seen again and should stay as such. Though i have spent more money than a lot of people on this game for HERO mechs Premium time and other stuff I dont qualify for the Mad dog or KC as cash can be a bit tight at times , i had to settle for getting my DWF and Timberwolf "a le carte" so pay'n full price for top teir wave 1 and 2 just to get a free mech or 2 is just bonkers when wave 1 at this stage is almost fully out , though i may get the top teir wave 2 i think i have spent/ am spending just about enough ,as much as i want one i'll wait for the mad dog.

All in all try'n to do something so that as many people as possable get the MD and KC kind of messes up the idea of a LIMMITED EDITION special offer mech .

while I'm sure it's been mentioned...I just don't want to sift through this. I'd be all for another IS pack, especially at $80!! But I didn't purchase either founder's or phoenix because I just didn't want the particular mechs that were being offered. However...I would spend $80 on a Marauder and Warhammer. ^_^

Alas...I can only dream...

But if we were to get melee mechs... axman 2n anyone? that would be worth it to me!!!

Information is ammunition! :D

I already qualify for the King Crab and would definitely purchase a new IS pack. However, if the King Crab would be added as the incentive to buy a new IS pack, what about us that already qualify for it; would we get something different or a second King Crab?

I rarely spend $$ on F2P games, though I could see myself spending $15-$20 on a faction pack (faction colors + camo as mentioned previously). But here's an idea - offer faction favorite mechs for each pack, so a Jenner for Kurita, etc. Make each pack unique and I would throw down a small chunk of change. Sorry but I'm not one to spend $80 at once even though I could afford it...

I think a new pack would be the way to go. By the time December hits people will have their Crabby fix.

As for getting the unique version make it an option when the next pack comes out, and if for some reason if they want both options for the pack make it an add on, or throw in some swag.

Annnnd I have to say…if there was new pack I hope to see a Warhammer, and the Black Widow Hero version.

I'm just speaking for myself here, but if you had the Zeus in the package as the Assault I would buy it day one. Just sayin' :P Don't even care about getting the KC as a bonus for it.

Why not just make a "latecomers" pack with existing IS mechs? Throw in a hero mech and bam. Instant pack for IS players who missed PP and Founders. Throw some premium time into the mix and an mc bundle. Make 1 pack per weight class just like other packs. Toss a "better late than never" cockpit item in and there you go

I would be very much behind a new 80-120$ pack for the IS. I am a massive fan of the IS http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Devastator and would love to see it or something similar in a IS Clan Buster type pack.

Big thumbs up! Thanks for the continued communication Russ :)

My Wishlist for the pack:
Light: Wolfhound http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Wolfhound
Medium: Not a lot of choices left and theres enough in the game already. Alternative?
Heavy: Grasshopper/Hammerhands http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Grasshopper/http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Hammerhands
Assault: Devastator http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Devastator

Well you could make a IS package again with new mechs like the Mauler. Wouldn't hurt to have a counter wave package.

Not going to read all the idea's, so if mine is a copy consider it a vote for whomever suggested it first.

$80 IS Loyalist package. Pick 4 IS mechs of your choosing (I don't care if they are all Assault or whatever...just pick what the hell you want)...hero or champion are included in this if you want one of those. You get 3 colors of your choosing and 1 premium pattern of your choosing, 4 mechbays and 4 cockpit items of whatever you choose.

Less mechs, more maps. I'd throw down for a commitment that no more mechs are released (save those already announced) until we have 4 new maps. Hand out a compass dashboard item for my trouble.

Interstellar Explorer package.

I suggested it elsewhere, but here it is again. I assume that you already have more Inner Sphere mechs in the production pipeline at various levels of completion. It seems to me that the easiest route for you to take would be to bundle up the "next 4" Inner Sphere chassis that you were already planning to release and offer them for pre-order.

Note that you would only have to offer them for pre-order - you wouldn't have to actually make them available until later. Potentially much later. After all, we pre-ordered the Clan packs as much as 6 months in advance. So creating this package wouldn't necessarily have to impact your existing schedules too much. It would some, of course, because you'd be bringing work forward on the last ones in the pipeline, but you wouldn't have to move the first one at all and could potentially even delay the release of that Mech slightly.

I would probably pre-order such a package. I cannot say for certain, of course, because we do not yet know what the Mechs would be, but I tend to be a PokeMech collector with limited time to play so package purchases are the best way for me to collect Mechs.

And Russ... since I have been critical in the past it is only fair to offer praise now... the communication that we are seeing from you and PGI has a whole is orders of magnitude better than before. Keep up the good work!

Here is my take on this subject being heavily discussed. In case your unaware the summary is that we have plenty of IS loyalists who either missed the chance or chose not to buy a Legendary founders or Phoenix overlord package. Now to qualify for the King Crab their only remaining option is to buy either a Masakari or Man O War package. But of course they are IS loyalists so this option is understandably not much of an option at all.

Here are a few hard stops as I see it:

Although there were many ways we could have gone about the Customer appreciation program and the criteria we set for each of the various rewards. The fact is we launched it under the requirements that we did and many people have already made significant buying decisions based on that information so I don't think it would be fair to adjust that criteria at this point.

Next on to the Foundes and Phoenix programs, I have read the threads and although there is some support in both cases there is also I believe enough players that are against the prospect that it would be unfair of Piranha to bring those programs back.

Trust me bringing back the Founders or Phoenix program would be by far the easiest option for Piranha to provide, however I don't feel we have the complete support we would need to do so. Which means that IF we were to provide a new IS package it would need to be a NEW program.

If we look at the price points of the four qualifying packages they go from 120, 80, 240 and 120. Therefore the lowest price point was the Phoenix Overlord package and with that in mind I think any new program would at least need to match the 80$ package level. Also Piranha has never charged for one of these programs at these dollar amounts unless the value of the packages were high and the biggest part of that value was in the fact the chassis were all new.

So I think if we were to offer a package for IS players to get in order to qualify for the King Crab I think it would need to be a new 80$ package with new IS chassis.

I want to hear your thoughts now on this, because it takes significant resources to develop one of these packages and we would need to have some idea on what the support level would be, how many would be interested?

I saw go with the new package. Despite having the original suggestion to bring back the Phoenix package, it was a quick and dirty solution in order to get the thought process flowing. Having never owned a single mech in that package, I would still welcome it with open arms, but I in my humble opinion to stay on this roll you're on of great PR and communication I say go for making the new $80 IS pack and I will gladly swoop on it with my IS account.

The way I see it, you could just sell pre-orders for the King Crab itself for $30 (plus some goodies) instead of having to make a another multi-mech IS package.

Then offer the King Crab as a reward to those that bought either a top tier Founder's or Phoenix pack.
