Clan tech balance must be considered as a whole not just comparing mech A with mech B.

If every other mech was buffed to TW level matches would be over in 2-3 minutes. Is that what are you asking for?
Thats as long as the actual fighting lasts anyway. Seriously I exclude walking to find the enemy, time spend backing out of line of sight.
If Timber Wolves are so OP, why are they the first mech to disengage when their paint gets chipped?

I'd like to see the Timberwolf, Stormcrow, and Dire Wolf get looked at before more blanket nerfs happen. Most of the rest of the clan mechs are pretty decently balanced with IS mechs at this point.
The Timberwolf and Stormcrow are the only non-lights with both Ferro and Endo, and neither has any hard mounted equipment. This gives them a huge advantage over all the other clan mechs, which either need the tonnage from Ferro/Endo but don't have it, or have tonnage and crits tied up in heatsinks, jumpjets, or flamers that they don't want. That means the TBR/SCR carry more weapons, run cooler, and get more armor. The one exception is the Dire Wolf, which is so heavy it'd rather have the free crits than weight savings from Ferro/Endo.
The Orion and Awesome would like a word with you.
I should have phrased that in TT that range is, here in MW:O the Awesome sucks balls because of hit boxes (and i have two mastered one of which is a PB). I run a Protector Orion and i find it acts like a mini Atlas, not sure about the other cfgs though as the Clans came out not too long before the Protector, not to mention I only wanted the Protector...

Because they don't want their paint to get too marked up? Those things cost money to get buffed and waxed!

That has been said for almost all the good `Mechs that have come out over the years. The chassis will become the flavor of the month, then its use will slowly dwindle.

There is no point in nerfing hitboxes !
All the mechs should have good hitboxes, and if a mech stands out, then others should be buffed. It's simply not cool or fun to pilot a mech in which you think "oh well the enemy can shoot me wherever they like, no matter what I do". The game would be much more fun if all mechs had Centurion or Stalker level hitboxes. PGI seems to know this as all the Clans have solid to good hitboxes, and that is not a step that should be taken back.
Regarding mobility nerfs, I think a good starting point would be to lower the speed-tweaked speed to 81.
Apart from that, we'll have to wait and see how severe the Clan XL nerf is, IMHO.

How about trying something other than those classic " I´m a DDC I´m gonna **** ye all" things that too many STILL try to pull off ?
Might raise your chances to kill something that is ~40% quicker than you ...
Oh, another thing .... there is quite a few guys out there that are using DDC´s "good/efficient/viable" ... take a look at them please and stop trying to reason for absolutely unjustified nerfings/buffings because in the end :
ALL YOU "NERF THIS! NERF THAT!" -GUYS WILL HAVE DONE IS THAT EVERY WEAPON IS AN EXACT COPY OF ANOTHER SUCKING THE LIFE OUT OF MECHWAR LEAVING US WITH LESS THAN CS-BETA WAS CLOSE TO 2 DECADES AGO.
Take up the challenge to fight better enemies, FIGHT !
And let me tell you one thing besides that ... I love to kill lights with Direwhales
Tl;Dr ?
OP, level up your game please, it seems inadequate .

So go away with the nerfherding. An atlas is an atlas. Go for the gun and they are gone..

There have been knee jerk nerf attacks before and they are always bad. I really miss my effective Victor... but it was over powered or some such nonsense and the fix was to destroy it with nerfs. Now, because of over-nerf, there is nothing IS to fight the Clans flagship Heavy... something a Victor would do pretty well.
Moral of the story: Lock up the nerf-bat.

I think the nerfs to the Victor were lame and need to be rolled back. Serious mobility nerfs like that should just flat out never happen again.
Well, but having a clantech mech at 75t with ES and FF is just a bit overkill.

because TW is still overkill still making nearly any other mech below it inferior, and even some assaults above him.
