I can almost guarantee a Quad AC/5 build will be popular given hardpoint inflation on the arm ballistics.

If not, twin AC/20's or Gauss, plus either large lasers or PPC's.

Arguably though, if there are enough missile hardpoints, someone might choose to go full brawler and equip AC/20's, SRM-6+A's and add maybe a single PPC or ER Large Laser for ranged defense.
