Nope. It comes down to "This is a special version of my favourite mech" that i want to buy. I've waited for three years. Why would i be bothered about waiting another few months? And if i can't buy my favourite mech why would i buy any other?

And by special, you really mean it has a shiny letter 'I' in its name, has an overrated bonus and an unchangeable Invasion camo. And and it has rounded legs, which really don't look very good. Either way, this particular 'Mech isn't going for sale as per normal, and that's PGI's decision. If you only play this game just to buy the 'special' Vulture, you mustn't be getting very much out of the game.

It's in your head, man. You can get it for free in a few months, it'll be more customisable and better overall.

So...it would have been OK if it had been someone else's Favorite Mech?

Well i don't care about the (I) but I'd like the bonus even if it isn't much (although I'd probably live in this mech). Camo? Nice but not too bothered. Rounded legs i do like (on mechs anyway :P ).
I'm not the type of player that likes to collect loads of mechs, and I don't even like IS mechs, but does it matter how many mechs someone has? I have been waiting for three years for a couple of mechs but the Mad Dog Prime especially...and I don't care how customizable it is. I only pilot stock mechs.

I have no choice but to wait for the C-Bill version, but i do feel let down by PGI all because I don't have a load of cash to blow on a game.

No of course not. I don't think that any mech should be limited to those with more money as there will be players who miss out. Imo a limited gift should not be a mech at all.

Hero Vulture will probably be better anyhow. And cheaper than A La Carte.

Id pay 100$ for that mad dog PGI cmon give us this option :) i dont wanna pay 360$ when the mad dog is the only mech i want :)

Sigh ;(

I will never understand the mindset that believes 100$ for a single digital item is a sensible price point. Even 30 USD is far far to high to me, that's half the cost of an entire AAA game that cost millions to make.

50 dollars for the top tier packages might be reasonable, though even that's a stretch.

But not a Mad Dog Prime and that's the one i like.

Honestly i know how petty it sounds, but even if it was a la carte at what £50?...that's more than i think I've ever spent on a game, not including monthly subscriptions or expansions...and it's more than i get to spend on myself in a year.
I understand how it sounds to people who like IS mechs, or just like any mechs. It's just a mech right? But I've been waiting so long i just feel let down. I can't even bring myself to play atm.

Maybe I'll get a TBR when i can while I'm waiting for January. It's my third favourite mech anyway (and i know there's very little, if any chance of ever seeing the Stone Rhino :( ).

Here's the deal though. Mad Dog prime? No center torso, leg or head components Hence you can slap the prime side torso and arms on the Hero and voila...the only thing not "Prime" is the name.

25 USD and 2 Cbill versions, and done.
