Pretty much on par with the Timber Wolf, as it should be. Still feel that the legs should be thinner... but I said that when the Mad Cat was released and I've grown to love that one.

Either way, looking forward to facing a few on Tuesday. :D

I like it
I don't want it to be OP like the madcat
I'm glad it's inferior to it in terms of size and hitboxes
I don't even touch my madcats because they truly are OP and getting kills with them seems cheap
I sincerely hope this mech is hard to play
That way my victories will feel hard fought

I feel like it could be a bit smaller due to the 15 ton difference. but oh well, it was big in MW4 too and has always been about the same size as the timberwolf.

I think the Vulture has always been a high-profile mech, right? Tall and skinny with that command cockpit position on top. Seems fine to me. Although in comparison it doesn't look as skinny as I thought it would.

Looks bigger than the Cataphract, despite being 10 tons lighter. I'm not surprised, really. At least it looks good.

Well with that cockpit position you can definetly peak over hills and fire your missles without exposing much.

Yeah Bishops resize honestly looks better.

It doesnt look like the legs were just ripped off from the other model. I get it from a resources aspect, that was super easy to do. But his resize looks way better.

yup yup, Tw and Mad Dog were about the same size. happy happy the Mad Dog is finally here, always preferred it over the TW, except the S-variant :)

It already looks OP. I think it wise to get the nerf ball rolling now.

I sure can't wait to horribly underperform in the latest and greatest shiny.

And then watch as anyone that thinks they're good (and/or tries just a bit too hard) goes back to the timberwolf for their heavy of choice - Possibly until the Hellbringer comes out because there is no question ECM will make it a useful heavy mech - Not as useful as a timberwolf perhaps, but definitely one of the better ones.

Also, aim high. Like, skim the very top of the torso high. Particularly in your AC40 whatever.

Remember:

It uses the same molds for the leg components as the Timberwolf.

So simply 'scaling down' the Mad Dog is not an option that is compatible with canon.

You could only scale down the top half, if you were wanting to scale it.

If you shrunk the legs, you would need to shrink the Timberwolf legs as well.

I think it looks good :)

Can someone compare the Mad Dog size to the Catapult so I can cry some more?

ther are plenty of companies that make components which come in several sizes. I don't see why that can't apply to this situation as well for the legs

Yeah I think the Hellbringer will give the TW a run for its money. It actually has more pod space available that the TW for weapons and it looks like it might actually have some chance at being able to torso twist to mitigate damage. Less armor though with 352 armor max but ECM will go a long way toward making up for that difference. Also its hard to argue that ECM is the single most important TEAM support item in the game something the TW can't bring to the table.

As far as the Mad Dog, I love the look. It might be the single best looking mech in the game (through I just watched the Dev Log with the concept art for the King Crab and it just might beat out the Mad Dog). However, I am still concerned about the hitboxes. As someone who used to love Dragons way back when Gauss Rifles where still useful brawling weapons, that pointy snot targetable from all angles is a huge liability. Either the Mad Dog will be losing side torsos almost immediately upon getting engaged or it is going to get cored out quickly just like a Dragon, either way it that vulnerability is going to severely handicap the Mad Dog.

In any case, I am definitely looking forward seeing how the Mad Dog does in battle. Unfortunately I won't be piloting in any time soon so will have to settle for observing them from a distance.

Always happy to make you cry. But i'm afraid i might have to use the K variants. which are smaller cuz god konws nobody owns a missile catapult after what they'v done to it.
