So just to be sure, if i buy a one shot camo pattern, It will stay applied forever as long as i dont try to change it back to default right?

Correct - the one shots last until you change the pattern to anything else, stock or another pattern. The unlock versions you can change out at will on that chassis and put back on later without re-purchasing..

What is this "one shot" pattern? Have I never seen them?
