Mech Restarter (Think of the Pinch from the movie Oceans 11)

- Dropped from orbit, forces a shutdown of all mechs within the radius.
- Similar radius to artillery
- Another possibility is to have an artilery like situation but instead of damage affected Mechs restart.

Purpose would be if 2 groups are about to engage, this would give the one group a slight advantage having 2 or 3 enemy mechs disabled for 2 or 3 seconds.

AMS Drop pod

- Dropped from orbit, roughly the size of an atlas leg, or you can use the same turret from base defense
- Limited by ammo or time
- Should be expensive should be limited to 1 at a time, per team and once every 5 to 7 min.
- If a regular AMS can suppress a ranged LRM5 strike, This one should suppress a ranged strike from 3xLRM20 for 1 to 2 min or the length of a brawl.
- Can be destroyed by enemy fire.

The AMS Drop pod would be ideal for attack moves and team re positioning when you otherwise could not due to LRM Suppression. Also probably would of removed the sting of the LRMageddon back in the day.

Tweaking the arbitrary #'s of your AMS turret there, might make it an interesting idea. Sounds kinda fun.

I do not like the idea of your EMP Pulse like item #1 however. That could be abused as a stunlock in this game and trust me...it would be. I can already see a team using these to keep a mech shutdown for a second here, second there, allowing for unadulterated focus fire that would melt mechs. It's a fun idea, but not a good idea from a balance perspective imo. Vote NO to stunlocks.

That's fine. Heck I realized a mistake in the AMS one. I said it should be expensive what I really wanted was people not to spam it and I addressed it.

The goal was significant LRM suppression not total, so out of every 4 missiles block 1 to 2.

You can also create other holes in the defense. Make it prioritize new salvos, so if you stagger them, it will ignore some salvos over others.
