This would go a long way to making this mech more viable.

They might have to be hardpoint inflated, though. 2 missile hardpoints aren't very much.

No guarantees of it now though...

I think someone else confirmed it in a thread... which one, I have no clue. Mcgral probably will remember better (I don't care for the Nova to remember the importance of this).
This is the closest I've found, but I suppose it's not actual sources.

This one is in answer to my own Nova missile question:

I will note, the Nova would apparently be capable of 3 AMS if they added all the omnipods, which is funny seeing the model with.
I'm hoping one day the will release all the omnipods that aren't redundant like they did with the Nova A's side torso and the Kit Fox C's right arm.

I dunno. I think a single LRM20 torso, with 12 ER SMall could add what is needed to make the 12 er small actually a serious build. Or simply adding 2 SRM6 worth of punch to 6 er mlasers.

I had looked into the files and discovered this.
I can post screenies if needed, granted it will take me a bit of time because I'd have to re-convert all the Clan models, I deleted them thinking I had backups, and of course, I didn't.

I'd say the arm mounted LRM20 could count for 2, since it replaces a potential 6 E hardpoints.
The left torso mounted SRM4 probably shouldn't.

If there's no CT difference, why not just offer the omni-pods? (though I guess another entire mech doesn't hurt anything, won't effect most people who have 3 already though)

Give me a few hours, and Ill post some screen caps, having to dig a little on the interwebs to find the Neosis program and its dll for .cgf files because that was deleted also.....curse you external hard drive.
Ill give you a Nova with missiles, the Adder with a CT PPC, and the TImby with shoulder mounted energy weapons.

My guess is they wanted to be safe and not sorry, so they went ahead and modeled everything as though they might allow all omnipods and unrestricted mechs.

I don't know 6 ERMediums and 2 SRM 6 would be a good build or 2 LRM 10 plus whatever. Seems to me 2 missile points could really change a lot.

horrible precedent to set, much like unlocking JJs or endo. Not gonna see me get on board with.
Nicer and "balanced" are seldom the same thing.
