I love how the combat on this map has really evolved over time, only by subtle map changes but mainly from player adaptation.

The bases used to be a little closer to the ridge, and teams used to just blob up on either side of the ridge and wait to see who would break first. Tunnel rushes were possible but underutilized, and the "jenner alley", the low ground ridge, was rarely used except by an occasional light and saw almost zero direct conflict.

The bases were pushed back a little bit and people started to set up a little differently, and tunnel rushes became very common, almost all matches were won with the tunnel. This also led to a lot of fighting AT the bases and thier surrounding grids.

Eventually, everyone was too aware of the tunnel so it would always get a scout through to watch, and it fell out of favour because it was no longer an element of surprise. This led back to holding below the central ridge and waiting to see who broke first.

The next major strat became moving around the ridge/ship at the low end, teams that try to hold in B4 (defensive vs the tunnel and ridge) will find the enemy almost always push around the low end of the ship and come in hard and fast. (I like to direct the team up into the saddle and over the ridge when a big push comes that way, camping in B4 is nor very defensive from a push from the low end) With the current gameplay we also see a lot more fighting in the low valley, and a lot less at the actual bases.
