10 minute Charger concept sketch......(as most of you know, most of mine start life as napkin doodles)
trying to keep as much "TRO" as possible in it, but accentuate the needed changes for it to have any chance at success in MWO.
Primarily, it absolutely MUST be XL friendly. The best way to do that is massive arms (which it already sported large pauldrons) and comparatively small STs. And part of the vicious circle is twist speed.... the bigger the engine, the better. Making XL use a must.
Secondary outlook was it is a large scout. It needs beefy legs to support it's mass going at the speeds it can achieve.
Anyhow, if folks like, will start cleaning up and making it into a "real" sketch.

You got rid of the pistol. Good, now the Charger can actually use that hand! I was going to suggest that the legs were a little fat, but your reasoning is sound. Love the enhanced pauldrons! Let's see some more!

The TRO images I dug up for comparison.
Solaris 7
TRO 3050
Another Solaris 7 TRO image. Dubbed "Charger Special" but not certain as to why.
TRO 3025.
Models.
Makes for something interesting.

Why does all the original Charger art look like it is an amputee? o_0
Looking good so far, Bishop! But you know the Hatamoto-Chi is the superior knock off.

Weight savings (fluff only; has no effect in TT/MWO), the Charger also uses that side for bashing mechs (and without fingers it prevents having to repair a potentially fragile actuator. Replacing hands can really suck).
