Yep, today is D-Day....D as in Dire Wolf that is. Got my C-bills ready for all three chassis the moment I get home.

My prediction is the Assault que will be above 60% today.

Just more giant CTs to nuke...

Better that than more DDCs...

They say mad dog is today also, correct?

I hope there are a bunch of mad dogs to ease up the assault queue, and take slots from TBR.

i have a weird feeling it will replace the TBR and or end up being similar to the TBR. So the heavy class will be mostly either one of the other. I am also fearing it will end up near OP like the TBR but we'll see. I haven't used either one but hoping at 4pm I can start playing with both of them.

I'm really looking forward to seeing my favorite Clan mech in the game (Vulture), but not really looking forward to playing AGAINST it, if you get my drift.

I will prefer to deal with mad dog more than mad cat any day. Jump jet on mad cat is just wrong imo. Diverting damage to leg at will and climbing hills... simply too much.

My LRM hit % and damage stats are about to skyrocket ;)

*starts chanting*
"NRF LRMs MEW!"
Because I hate cover and am now driving the biggest LRM magnet since the AWS series of mechs. :)

I'm gonna laugh when all the "DW is op" qqers are now getting nuked in theirs as they learn its shortcomings.

I just noticed they ripped off my Dire Wolf A's camo scheme (which I have named Arctic Wolf and have my Timberwolf S named/decked out similarly) on the announcement page.

I'm probably going to hop onto my DOOOOOMCrow and teach everyone to fear the DOOOOOOOMCrow.

Why?

Because I want to savor Dire Whale tears.

And I don't want to spend minutes on the heavy/assault queues which are going to be through the roof choking on Mad Dogs and Dire Wolves.

Dire Wolf is a fearsome beast. But it takes some practice and unlocked mech skills to rein it in. I intend to hunt them down in my shiny new Mad Dog.

This is the perfect storm... the Dire Wolf released on the same day as the LRM heavy Mad Dog. You will be fighting in the shade, Dire Wolf pilots.
