Since patch I've been tinkering with the new Mad Dog.
Every time I save anything, modules, cockpit, configuration, I get an Error. Then my mech is stripped of all weapons. Then about 5 seconds later it looks like all the weapons go back on and things are ok.
This happening to anyone else?

Post coming soon about a hotfix
Things are actually working fine but there was some server lag introduced in the front end UI so saving your mech you need to wait like 30+ seconds for the Save button to grey out and be successful.
Thinking nothing is happening and then hitting save again is cause the error message.
So hotfix coming at 3:30 and you can play in the meantime but be extra patientn in mechlab or play with your current builds in the meantime.

Yea, I got this as well. And I have seen a few complain about it in game. I have stopped even trying to run my Vulture for now.....seems everyone is trying to, and the search que is taking forever! 58% Heavies!

Will be more patient--its more the changing up modules that is doing me in. Thanks for the heads up Russ.

How do I fix it, or are the MWO Servers down?

generally it is a sign of server issues, I am actually getting some nasty ping to MWO's site and servers (yet not the rest of the web) so I think something is going on, again. Think Russ needs to talk to their host and see what is going on. TraceRT in command prompt is showing a massive jump between Seattle and New York which stays high upwards into Canada where their servers are hosted, looks like somewhere in Quebec? Either way, seems like it is a fault in the cables between USA and Canada.
