As nice as heaving that beast would be, she's out due to MASC, as is our preferred light the Fire Moth. If we are going to get a signature mech, lets try and get the Kodiak.... a 100 tonner with JJ's? Yes please.

I don't see why MASC keeps it out since it doesn't push the Executioner to game breaking speeds like the Firemoth would.

The Firemoth issue really stinks too because at this point we don't have any fast lights like the IS. The Firemoth would give us that but we can't get it because 200+ kph would break the engine......sucks.

Basically because PGI has said that they are not visiting any MASC equipped mechs for now.

Neither do I really, but that's why they are keeping it out... I say, either give it free tonnage to account for MASC, or make MASC dead weight for now.

Given that Kodiak is not an omnimech (iirc), this would be interesting from a balancing perspective.

She's not, she's a second line mech, so there are next to no variants of it that are in time line wise....

CGB favored mechs that cannot be implemented for some reason or another.
Fire Moth...MASC
Executioner...MASC
Viper...MASC
Kodiac... non omni

PLS PGI, get MASC operational soon for the love of GCB.

I have my fingers crossed that English is not their first language... and if it is, then this is serving as a scathing indictment of the education system of his home country....

The way I understand it, MASC is not possible due to Cryengine limitations. The engine can only handle 150kph....I know what you're thinking...."I have a XXXXX that does 163kph." Therein lies the problem and one of the reasons Firestarters and Spiders have "buggy hitbox" issues.

The client side says it's doing 160kph but the engine can only render it at 150. It's not actually where you're aiming and it gives the HSR fits.

I don't know about that, enough people demanded a nerf to the Victor's, and look what happened there....

Enough people demanded a change to the Pop-tart game, look what happened to Jump Jets...

If enough people whine demand something, they will do something about it, history has proven that much.

I don't like the executioner. Quit pretending to speak for anyone other than yourself.

The Executioner with MASC doesn't even go 100.

I was going to say, look at the Victor. Then you covered that point.

The Viper does not have MASC. It does however have the jump capacity to rival a Spider.
