The rate of change in this game is becoming such that it is counter-productive. Newer players are probably pretty frustrated by getting their asses handed to them constantly and may seem to think that something needs nerfed or changed. PGI seems to listen to this complaining and makes constant changes to the game. This, in turn, causes the noobs to have a need to relearn how to play. They get their asses handed to them again and begin to loudly request more changes. Then the cycle repeats.

So I propose this. Freeze all Buff/Nerf, game mechanic, and matchmaker changes. Let the new people and slow learning veterans get used to the current game setting. Do this for six months. If you have to make a tweak, do it with the mech quirks. That has been the only useful and successful change to the game in recent times. It brought the entire Awesome chassis out of mothballs.
