The reason i ask this is because i use Lasers a lot, when I'm skilling up new 'mechs, it is much easier for me to keep to lasers perfectly still on a target.
However it gets much harder to do this once i get double basics (and starts getting harder even with just normal basics) due to the Arm Reflex Pilot Skill.

I have my mouse sensitivity ingame set to absolute minimum, but Arm Lasers will still veer wildly off target at the slightest twitch once the basics are Doubled.

I can't be the only one who feels that way.

Next step is to get a mouse or software that will let you control DPI.

I drop mine to 200 for aiming.

You're not. Arm Reflex is a mixed blessing, and on laser-heavy mechs, the downsides tend to outweigh the positives.

A gaming mouse with adjustable DPI is very important for MWO in my experience, it's one of the only shooters I've ever played where I actually want less sensitivity.

I do wish they would allow dynamic sensitivity when zooming in/using advanced zoom module.

It just occured to me after reading your post that it'd be downright amazing if we had the ability to set up custom Arm Movement speeds on our 'Mechs.
Like having a slider that dictates how fast the Arms move at all times (even zoomed)

This indeed would be a great addition, and fit in perfectly with our mech customization system.

Meanwhile in Somalia they are worried about frivolous stuff like food and shelter.

Hopefully you will remember this, the next time YOU feel the urge to post about something you would like to see in the game or dislike about it ...

On topic:

I can't say that I have such problems and I also do play lasers a lot, but I sure wouldn't mind the suggested change as long as I can keep my pilot skill activated at all times. But if I remember correctly there still should be a complete revamp of the pilot skills stuff in the works anyways so I'd just wait and see. Or was that canceled?

Yeah I've never been too keen on that particular Pilot skill either, so I understand the desire to have it optional.

Sure why not, does not affect me in the slightest and will shut some people up.

I´d say go for it (once anything really important are done... like CW, UI 2.0, decals... well.. anything.)

Beyond that i guess you simply have to actually... care... about it enough to use your mouse to get around it.

A bit like how some people slam a turbo in their car to get around that the manufacturer did not put a more powerful engine in it.

And just because of it unpretentious Somalians are hardly a target audience for MWO trying to make money.

Isn't the point of buying a gaming mouse so you can?

Yes, but you could argue that you shouldn't need to go to third party peripherals in order to compensate for something that likely should be in game. I've said this many times about the need for in game integrated VoiP and group building features.

I don't think I've ever considered that i bought a quality gaming mouse in order to DOWNGRADE the speed the game runs at.

Except that here in MWO, It's more like buying a car with a Turbo and then needing to pay to have the Turbo removed because it degrades the performance of the car.

Agree on this. I have everything pretty close to as low as it will go and there are still a few mechs that seems to slew too fast.
