First launch after server downtime for 2014.09.23 patch, and received dialogue box advising me of terms of use. Last revision date indicates 2012.09.18 (two years ago).

Is this correct?

They removed any mention of IGP.

Apart from the 2012 year. That's going to be fixed in the next patch or sooner. :)

Since no answer was given on my posting I figured on finding you in another one. Any idea as to why none of my mad dogs are in my account yet? I ordered the Man O War pack this morning before the patch and I've got me the Warhawk pack pre ordered. What gives yo?

i assume they made this box pop up because the terms changed now that they have completely control of the game.

The Privacy Policy they are referencing is still the one for IGP from June 2012

Why do they now reserve the right to collect and distribute my personal information?

The 'Accept' button on the updated ToU won't activate so I can't patch (I can 'Decline' all I want, though).

Doubly frustrating because it appears I'm the only one suffering this. Ideas?

Scroll to the bottom, indicating that you've read the terms rather than blindly accepting. Once at the bottom you can accept.

Dang... didn't scroll far enough. I read the parts that mattered to me.

Major thanks, though. At least this is in the forums now so the next scroll-challeged player (who searches before posting) can fix it privately.

I do like how in multiple spots, we agree to not hold them responsible for any transgressions against us in any way, but we are to be held accountable for anything done under our account, even if it was taken control of without our permission.

Thankfully such things don't usually hold up in court. :)

If you are revising the year make it pop up again to agree too. I saw the year date and figured it was the same document so didn't read it.

If you are going to own me for use in experiments with monkeys and goldfish I'd like to know it's coming.
