For some reason, despite having a lower actuator on the right arm (yes, I double-checked), I don't seem to have any side to side movement capability on my Mad Dog B.
All omnipods are stock except left torso is Prime for AMS. Left arm is dual ERPPC, right arm is triple cERML. Naturally, left arm doesn't have actuators but that doesn't prevent just about every other mech in the game with missing actuators on one arm but not the other from having side to side movement. ( particularly omnimechs )
Is there something going on I just don't know about? I was hoping to have limited arm sweep, not just up and down movement. :/
(No, I do not know if any other mad dog is similarly affected, I have only lasers and missiles on them. And NO, I don't have armlock on either)

any quirks for that particular mech that restricts it? I don't own it so I can't look myself.

Actually, it seems to be the same issue that has been reported in as a bug here : http://mwomercs.com/...-ballistic-arm/

if u got a PPC or Gauss in the arms it loses the lower actuator mobility

Actually, on an omnimech you lose that arm's actuator entirely. But if you still have a lower arm actuator on the other arm you still retain some ability to aim left and right. Or, rather, you should, because it's not working for at least the Mad Dog B.

i think it is just if you use the ballistic arm, the variant doesn't seem to matter.

It seems that losing the actuator on one side overrules the other side's actuator.
The question is, was this intentional, or an oversight?
