The problem isn't arty, the problem is its spamibility. Arty should be a terrorfying and soul trembling threat to mechs to be utterly feared. But because of that and the enclosed nature of our maps, artillery and air strikes should have some reasonable limitation to its use...especially since you can't defend against it, interdict it, intercept it or transit around it.

I don't move once I know it's too late, for this reason. I think of it like rain. It's been proven if you run through the rain, you get more wet than just moving normally, standing still. That's how I approach Arty.
