When the Dropship mode is finally introduced I had a few questions:
  • What happens if a dropping mech landed on another already in-game?
  • Will we EVER HEAR: "Mech - Powerup, Detected!"?
  • Can we shoot down mechs in mid-flight?
  • Where exactly could we land?
Exactly what I meant by the last question is, if on specific maps mechs landed out-of-bounds say on Canyon Network on the cliffs. WHY NOT have this occurence? Remember some old campaigns from other MWs? In MW3 say a Shadowcat just got within range but it was on a cliff. It'd be a hard target to hit considering the cliffs then weren't exactly flat. But now if mechs could weave in and out of small ditches near on top of the cliff, it'd be hard to keep a lock on it.

Either that if you dropped with a light-mech and randomly landed on the cliff, or you landed there with a Daishi / DWF. Then you have a Whale on top of a mountain. Great vantage point maybe.

Just please don't make the drops pre-set? I think Paul said the devs wouldn't do that to focus on immersion. Random drops would be much better plus we couldn't blame you guys. Random drops will either turn out to invent great matches, endings and mid-game warfare problems. Love it.

Keep it PGI.
