It appears in dropship mode players may be returning to the battle with their back up mechs in lances/waves. Not sure how they will do this but here is where I think the idea may have come from.

By the way, the original mount and blade mounted combat is alot like Mechwarrior combat. Having to ride the horse in one direction and attack in another. That Mechwarrior shares similarities with Mount and Blade combat is a really good thing.
