My seismic sensor works great for me, however, that info is relatively useless to anyone else on my team. Unless everyone is on coms for me to call out, there really isn't time to type out the threat.
What I'm proposing is:
1.) An additional mech module that cooperates with the seismic sensor.
2.) A top level unlock to the seismic sensor.
Either way with that module/unlock your seismic sensor would broadcast its seismic alerts, thereby making them visible on the rest of the team's radar maps.
