First White-Knight: Thank you for keeping the engaging contests and interesting things like this going. I appreciate it.
White knight sleepy. Black knight now.
Several issues here.
-Max reward of 4500 GXP +3 days premium? Ok, first of all, the 3 days premium is worth more than the other two combined, so it should be the top tier reward. (Literally. 4500 GXP would cost... 180 MC to convert? Am i right on that?) and 3 days premium would cost over 600.
-To reiterate, the tier 2 and 3 rewards are actually garbage. I mean just awful. What were you thinking? (One might argue you were thinking "Hey! Here's something for free, just for playing in a 4 man") but for the reasons I will spell out below, you have created a weekend of really bad play for everyone, so you might have made it WORTH it.
-Your scoring system can only have been designed by someone who was either heavily intoxicated, or just...careless. You award 1 point or a kill. 1 insignificant point. But 2 points for an assist. So never mind the dire wolf that pounds down the atlas singlehandedly, one point for him. But 2 points to the shadowhawk that snuck in a medium laser. Are you stupid? And you award 2 for spotting, tagging, and Narc'ing. Something an accomplished light pilot can get 20+ of in a single match, all together. In fact, if he takes a ERLL, Narc, and Tag, he can get 12 asists, and average 15 from narc/scout/tag. Thats 54 points. And if he wins, which he did with 12 assists, 58 points. Yes, thats a STELLAR GAME, so lets compare it to a DPS roles stellar game.
Timber Wolf rolls out. Claims 8 kills, 2 assists. An incidental spotting bonus. Make it 2. And a win, naturally.
20 points. For a LEGENDARY game.
So, an obvious scouting bias. You know who REALLY cleans up? LRM boats. They can get spotting bonuses, TAG bonuses, assists, AND the win. Thanks so much for LRMageddon V 3.0.
Why you would set kill rewards so low is beyond me. (It creates an environment of teamwork and cooperation!)
No, you shut your ***** mouth. It creates a battlefield where no one wants to take the last shot. You are literally PENALIZED for killing mechs in this program.
