I have a 34" 2560 x 1080 monitor and at that resolution everything looks beautiful but I wanted to play around with lower resolutions with the same 29:1 aspect ratio but nothing is listed that works.
Is there a way to do this?

Unless you are dividing it by 50% on each axis you are causing massive distortion.

Some graphic card software allow you to use a custom resolution of any size. Try the control panel of your graphic card.

MWO does not "know" custom resolutions, nor does it allow one to be set using .CFG files. You can set any resolution by manually editing the .XML settings [REDACTED], but that is officially illegal.

There's a piece of software called the custom resolution utility.

could try that to add new resolutions, they should show up ingame if you use that tool.
If you have a nvidia card you can test custom resolutions in the nvidia control panel. Might not show up in every game though. Not sure if amd has something similar these days.
