...you're going to have to make Premium Time more worth buying.

In the time since my Masakari Pack dropped, I've somehow managed to spend 111M CBills just on Clan weapons, the odd Omnipod and heaps of Weapon Modules.

Even though I've been using Hero and Prime Mechs for most matches, and using Premium Time, and playing a half dozen matches every day, averaging 129K CBills per match, I'm somehow not making enough money to even buy the rest of the Weapons Modules I need, let alone new Mechs.

So IMHO, Premium Time needs to be bumped up to 2X. That would be consistent with its earning levels before they nerfed CBills.

If PGI did improve Premium Time, I'd buy more of it.

What do you think?

Or give a discount on modules or a discount on paints. Just anything to make being a "premium" player a worthwhile investment every month. Otherwise with the actual amount of time I spend playing, it's not worth the 50% to keep paying. Granted you always end with a little extra MC, but it doesn't seem worth it. They need to add per battle boosters to the store. For casual scum like me :3

Gotta be careful with payed boosts, if they become too much the game becomes a pay to win scenario. where people who don't pay are facing better equipped and better mechs. An additional discount on just mech chassis sounds good to me. You can buy the mechs for less, but still pay the full costs for parts, but it balances out because you are making more C-bills.

First and foremost, revert the paulconomy changes. Expecting f2p players to buy all these weapon mods with the current income is asinine.

As for premium, they really do need to sweeten the pot. Premium only deal of the day, discounts on cosmetics etc. 2x the current bonus would just add to the p2w flames imo.

I would like to recommend versions of the modules that are bound to a specific mech. They can be equipped on that mech only, but please slash the price by a lot. Similar to 1 time Camo and perma Camo.

10% discount on paints/camos, MC mechs, etc while premium time is active. Another game I play gives players 15 or 20% off any other purchases in the cash shop and actually generated more sales than they were getting before which led to a higher revenue.

For any sort of 'sale' that is going on, the percentage should be overridden by the sale, not added to.

How did you spend that much ?, I only play weekends and managed to fit all my chassis on the fly with the money I was making, I'm also up to 51 mil now, never had more than 10 mil at any given time before.

I have been playing for nearly 2 years and I have yet to purchase a single module due to the high cost.
I don't foresee myself purchasing any modules in the future either, not worth it IMHO.

Levelling 9 Clan chassis concurrently, most of which have two weapons slots. While I generally only have one Mech in each weight class ready to drop, by the time you try different weapons and loadouts, it's easy to spend 100M CBills on various weapons range and coodown modules.

I also made the mistake of buying some Banshees along the way, because my team needed me to field them in a comp.

Point is though: I play a LOT of Mechwarrior. And even though I spent $240 on a full Clan Mech pack, and am using Premium Time and Prime variants, I'm not making enough CBills to fully outfit those Clan Mechs, despite having had a 100M CBill head start :(

I agree, premium time is just not as desirable as it should be. Heck, i still have my original founders premium time banked because it feels like a waste activating it with its current bonuses especially after the crazy economy nerf we got a while back (nerfing the base value also nerfed the 50% that premium boosts).

Premium needs more, so either boost the base economy (especially now with all the mechs and crazy expensive modules in the game) or/and add more bonuses to premium. I'm kind of hoping for a loyalty point bonus, but even that wont be enough.

Someone mentioned daily/weekly sales just for premium users, thats a good start. But i dont want MC only sales but propper C-bill sales as well.

I felt the same way at first, and resisted buying weapon modules for a while. However, as a member of a team, I feel obligated to optimise my Mech so that I make the maximum possible contribution to the team's effectiveness.

I'm not saying everyone should feel that way. I'm just explaining that that's the way I feel.

Heeey, Know what I was told when I mentioned something similar?

To Suck it up, Stop wanting instant gratification and Buy Premium time and A hero me- Oh.

Lookit that. Doesn't actually help that much, does it?

Now just imagine some person who's getting started, who isn't sure if they want to put money into the game trying to save for a 'Mech after making a poor first choice; The Game Economy is busted as it is, and This is why I don't get all these folks who want R&R back in the game as it currently stands.

But that's neither here nor there. The game economy in general needs a fixing, and then premium time would be worth it (A boost to normal earnings means a boost to Premium earnings,) except not really; As it is, unless you plan on spending an awful lot of time playing, it's a huge waste, seeing it ticks down even if you're not online. People like me play for maybe 2-3 hours a day. Pretty much your only real option is a Hero 'Mech. Trust me, you're not alone in this.

As it is, The best I can say for you is Buy Cbill packs in the game store with MC if you need more speed at the moment. Good luck.

With the massive expense of clan components that have negligible overall difference to IS gear, base CB rewards should be 50% higher.

With the addition of a lot more GXP modules, it's also glaringly apparent that GXP generation is way too slow and the only decent way of obtaining it is through conversion using MC. Can you say cha ching?

1) CB and GXP need boosting by 50% (standard XP is fine)

2) As suggested above, premium gives you a discount on cosmetics as they are only worth buying when they are on sale. I just don't consider it unless they're on sale.

3) Module costs need lowering. The CB grind is horrible enough as it is without having to blow up to 6m on a single module that has to be unequipped and reequipped if you want to use it on a different mech.

Does 129K C-bills per match with Premium AND a hero sound low to anyone else? With Premium and a Hero I can pretty easily break 300-350K in a match.

250k a match is pretty normal for me, I can see the OP's point though if he's having to buy multiple modules, I don't bother with weapon mods myself, perhaps that's how I had no trouble fitting my mechs.

Have you people ever played World of Tanks? There's a reason it's referred to as World of Grind. This game is still better in the long run than WoT.

It's an average of all matches, Hero and non-Hero, since the stats reset. You can see it on your stats page.

Sure I can break 330-350K CBills in a match. But then I can also solo PUG, trying to level a Mech in a team that gets wiped 12-0, and my earnings may be only 60K CBills.

What is your average earnings per match according to the stats screen?

EDIT: I just checked again and my average is now 130K per match. The increase of 2K over the past week since I last checked it means I must have been having better than average games lately. But still, even with the positive trend, it' s not enough to have me buying me weapons modules or Mechs anytime soon.

Me? I think premium Time should only countdown when I play. If I play 15 minutes or 5 hours on a given day, one day of premium time is decremented from my account. If I don't play for a week or a month, time does not continue to tick down.

THAT'S how you get people to purchase Premium Time - counts down only when you play.

Bump. What are others' "Accumulative C-Bills Per Match", according to your Profile Page?
