This issue had plagued me for so very long, every match i tried to play i would be disconnected from the servers and unable to reconnect. i initially thought it was the games fault, not my computer. almost at the end of my rope i read a vague reply in a thread some were on this site that solved my issue so i feel like its my job to help spread the word.

the solution to the problem lies in the setting for zone alarm anti-virus and firewall. under the firewall tab on the basic firewall settings, set your public zone security setting to medium. this solved the issue for me. but if anyone has used zone alarm they should know of the about the pop up window that asks you for permission when programs try to access you computer or the internet, these may also be affecting your game. i noticed that if you run the game in a window you should be able to give the permission, as the window prompt doesn't appear while playing in full screen.

i'd also like to take the time to apologize to the devs. that had to read my angry support tickets, i was angry and nothing i said was very nice. im sorry i dumped my frustration on you. i never would of thought that the issue would have been my firewall.

Is there not an 'program exception' selection for Zone Alarm that allows specified programs to operate through the firewall?
