So, my computer can tell if I have missiles coming in but cant tell if I have been NARCed?

Nope, you need to ask people around in chat whether you got NARC up yer butt or not. Very annoying.

Personally, if I get hit by more than 2 consecutive volleys of LRMs, I treat the situation as if I'm NARCed and prioritize seeking the nearest effective cover.
