[Raven-kell]

I played as the only pug in a CW drop a few weeks ago.
I was wondering If the offer to join SWOL is still in effect.
Here is a pic of the game we played;

I remember that match Dave. We asked you to join and you said, "Let's see how this game pans out." we were so hurt! We tried out hardest to impress you by dancing and having lightswitch raves. I almost went the whole match with just my Adder

The offer is always open!

LoL, I know I had other things on my mind and seems every time you play a match you get someone asking you to join some unit. It was nothing personal.

I am looking join. You could describe me as a casual player due to kids and job, but 20+ years of gaming experience so I can be an asset. =) Very much looking to get into CW beyond PUGs with no leadership or tactical sense or direction. Thanks.

Updated the OP with some clarifications and new info

SWOL are some of my favorite folks to fight. Generally you're the most likely to respond well to IS v Clan banter, and I really appreciate that. You've got some absolute killers, as well as new players, and I like that too. Inclusive units act as the lifeblood of the game. Someone's gotta show newer players that the community is largely awesome, and it includes veterans that are willing to teach and hang out with newer guys.

My favorite matches are when I can tell there is a premade group of about 6 on both teams. Or at least 5 people I've dropped with that use comms and proper tactics on each team. I prefer the rest to be pugs.

That way, it is not only a contest of skill between the unit members of each faction, but also a test of leadership! This seems to happen a lot with SWOL. It's always funny, because I imagine it as a cat-herding competition

Sometimes it is a bit of a cat-herding within our own unit due to the highly variable skill levels of our 300+ members.

Of course, thats what makes it fun when you see a full 12 man SWOL, you never know how it's going to go

I'd be very interested in joining you guys. I'm an adult, average skilled player, with far too many mechs. Grabbed the top tier of Clan mechs when they originally dropped so I have the kitfox's all the way up to the Direwolves. I took a break for a few months and came back 2 months ago. I just grabbed the 3 Myst Lynx mechs and have been playing around with them. Let me know if there is anything else I can tell you.
