I want to master these things but i really didn't like the battle master 1D so anyone have any useful builds for the other two or would i be better off with the Hellslinger? The Hellslinger looks intriguing with its hardpoint layout and i've heard it glows on hot maps but i've never seen the effect wish someone had a video of it.

I never had any luck with mgs even on stripped mechs but maybe thats because the noise of them firing also give me a headache. i tried the triple ac/2 build which while fun felt a bit lacking i like the idea of a hell slinger with three streaks two larges and four mediums complete with bap but i don't really think i like battle masters enough to buy the hero

Based on my experience (mastered 1G,1D and 1S recently,avg KDR 2.78) I'd say it looks decent.
HELLSLINGER - that's another approach,similar to my BLR-1S.These shoulder-mounted two SRMs have excellent convergence,I can imagine what destruction three such placed can do.
But I strongly recommend to get use to machine guns.Haven't you seen what devastation Embers can do?I assure you,2+ mgs is not something that may be safely ignored.

The 3S is good as a long range support assault. Split the difference between LRMs and long range punch and it works quite well actually. I suppose an SRM variant could really ruin someone's day, but, really the max load of 25LRMs in a single volley with some big energy weapons is a dandy combo allowing functionality in a number of scenarios.

The 3S, in my experience, is a poor Battlemaster- anything you could do with it would likely be better done with the 1S, one of the more energy-heavy BLRs, or (if you can afford it) the Hellslinger. Mind, that's as far as it applies to my combination of build philosophy and playstyle, so your mileage may vary.
The 3M, on the other hand, has the advantage over other BLRs in that it carries maximum energy hardpoints while still having access to missiles and a single ballistic slot. If you're considering a BLR with an AC/10, LB10-X, or Gauss on the left arm as a single ballistic weapon, this is the one to do it with- you retain the full six torso energy slots and have a second right arm energy weapon available, as well as the usual shoulder missile rack.
If you really want to use machine guns, the 1D is a better choice, you can clip together three Mguns for maximum dakka rate, or two and an LB-X for what I call a 'Shattercannon Arm'. If you're looking for lots of autocannonage, the 1D also lets you put two AC/2s together with a UAC or standard AC/5.
For stacked 5s, the 1G is the premier option, since it can fill the arm with two standard 5s and not waste any weapon slots.
I find the 3M is very effective at the midrange in open terrain- pair two PPCs in the right arm with an LB-X in the left and you can do a one-two punch that will rip 20 points of armor off in one blow and then tear into exposed components with the shotgun blast. Alternately, for long-range open terrain combat, a pair of ERPPCs or ERLLs with a gauss rifle in the left arm will make a lot of nasty holes.
Should you be looking more for missile shenanigans, then the 1S or Hellslinger is the way to go- the 3S' missile hardpoints are poor for close-combat missiles (particularly given the size of the right arm missile box regardless of the size of actual rack) and with all the energy weapons on the shoulders and the BLR's poor ability to lean down, it can't really hack it in close combat with medium lasers either, except against other assaults (and the occasional tall medium or heavy). Besides that, only two missile racks means you can't pull off the nicer arrays of LRM racks, or a truly menacing SRM array (or, for those of us who're crazy, the two-LRMs two-SRMs combo that can make the 1S a very nasty surprise for close-combat assault 'mechs).

3S is actually pretty attractive if you're into brawling; it's the only BLR with 6 chest E hardpoints that can also torso twist 90°. 6E+2M combo also allows it to mount huge STD engines without sacrificing heat efficiency.
3M is just a 1G with one arm B hardpoint swapped for E on the other arm. This allows it to do arm combos the 1G can't; like 2PPC+1Gauss, 2xPPC+1xAC10, 2ERLL+1xGauss and so on. Still, I don't think it's enough to warrant a purchase over the 1G.

I only have the 1D, 1G, and 1S. All three are mastered. I liked the 1G the least, mostly because of the reduced twist ability.
1D Build: I tried several, but this is the only one I liked and was consistently good with.
1G Build: Again I tried several, but this one worked best for me. It kind of plays towards the fact that it can't really twist so much. I just used it to hammer and burn.
1S Builds: I had an LRM and SRM build for this chassis.
The LRM Build I used and XL engine for more speed and just stayed back unloading LRMs. This was my favorite build of all my Battlemasters.
The SRM Build was pretty nasty and similar or exactly like one earlier in this post. When I got up close to you I just unloaded. I would even chain fire SRMs in some cases to make it tougher for the enemy mechs pilot. If I were using this build now I might drop AMS, hard to say but it seems like it would be wasted tonnage on this mech.
These all did very well for me, so I hope they help you out.
