While I know you guys (PGI) intent is to keep us playing as long as possible... But I long to have a clock somewhere in this game.

Yeah, I know... I could just tab out or actually get off my arse and look at the one on the wall but I'm fairly lazy and feel pretty darn comfy in my computer chair. ^_^

Couple suggestions:

1.) A small, unintrusive clock built into the UI framework.

2.) Why not utilize one of those unutilized cockpit monitors and throw the time on there?

Hell, when I'm ghost-riding after death I think it would be kind'a neat to see what time it is for the pilot I'm watching to see if I'm not the only one who will be dragging at work the next morn!

Could go one step further and maybe give geo, timezone AND time... :D

Now that you mention it... She did. One of those "little touches" that pull you in, ;)

Put it in the Mechlab, in that big empty space at the center bottom?

There never are clocks in casino. In World of Tanks, which is very mod-friendly, people use mod to put clocks in hangar.

And displaying other pilots' TZ accounts for disclosure of personal information.

I use alt-tab. I also have wrist watch on the table under the monitor.

Clearly it's not a "biggy" in the grand scheme of things... That said, it's one of those small things that when applied are appreciated.

Kind'a like the little binding tooth on a zipper pull... You don't appreciate it until it wears off and you find your barn-door opening every time you sit down. :P

I vote for one mounted on the wall in the mech hanger. It would add a touch more ambiance or atmosphere to the hangar that is needed. Really when is the last time you walked onto a factory floor or auto mechanic's garage and did not see a big clock on the wall?
