we were promised months before the clans arrived that mixed tech would not happen
then we were told to wait for the new match maker, thats out now and it works, tests have been run
but we are still playing mixed tech
this is making the group Que unbearable as min/max competitive teams flay casual teams constantly (this has always happened but has never been this extreme before)
why did PGI bother at all trying to balance the clans with burst AC when these teams can just field ac40jaggers along side 6xuac5whales or 2xERppc 2xGauss
balance goes right out the window when teams can take the best of the best from each faction and form the dream team
atlas DDC protecting 3x Timberwolfs/Maddogs followed by Direwolfs and stormcrows all with raven3L's, spiders and embers/jenners at their heels
the debate rages constantly on the forums about how Clans are /are not op and why
how are we truly supposed to know when we are stuck with mixed tech
how can any real discussion take place about balance when we are not seeing real data on the strengths and weakness of each faction
its not even a i can play with my friends argument anymore
trial mechs exist in both IS and Clan now
there is no reason anymore to have Mixed Tech
i say enough with half measures
either give Clan and IS access to each others weapons or remove mixed tech like it was supposed to be

they are all solo players, it would be even easier for them to play pure tech
mixed tech affects solo play just as much as group Que
the majority of my unit has stopped playing because of fighting side by side with clans
this is not what we singed up for
and to be honest, its getting harder and harder to play each night

Regardless, PGI isn't going to force any tech restrictions on PuG matches, it's intended to be open matches. Restrictions are a part of CW.

Sucks, but that's where it is. I was looking forward to just playing CW instead of the normal queue, but unless I read the design document wrong, you're only going to get to play that for two hours a day, and only at a specified time, so sucks for you if you're in a bad timezone or busy then.

The last time the MM was set to 'faction showdown', even with advanced notice, the forums were temporarily drowned out with the awesome sound of a billion 'Sphereoids whining out in unison.
I think the devs should make a weekend out of it (apologies for the crappy photoshop and grammatical errors):

Regardless of whether it's a good idea or not, that poster is AWESOME (post-quirks).

2. Community Warfare will restrict IS and Clans to pilot their own mechs.
3. You guys are stupid and don't know what the **** mixed tech is. It refers to combining the use of parts from both IS and Clan, such as putting a Clan's ERPPC on an IS mech. THAT is mixed tech...durr.
