So if you're ever running with someone who is interested in joining the clan but they don't have any clan mechs here's a list and some facts about the clan versions of some of the mechs in the game.The in game mechs may not have the kickass clan tech but they can still be used as a perfectly good substitution.
Hellhound (aka Wolverine IIC)
Close range brawler, although it is five tons lighter than the IS version.

Long range support mech. It is 15 tons lighter than its IS counterpart but the clan weapons used make it more powerful.

So if anyone says they don't have a clan mech just jump into one of these. Even though you won't have all the clan upgrades once you get all the IS upgrades you can still make powerful clan worthy mechs.
