The 0xc0000005 exception is an access violation, it has many possible causes.
- Some tied to C++
- Others to user authority
- Even a few linked to changing the desktop resolution between applications.
Mostly just a single corrupted line of code that causes the exception and crash.
Each machine may be unique in this problem and either requires finding the corrupted code line and fixing it or a clean install of the problem program. (and that's not a guarantee if the code is actually bad in the original program.)
- Some of the issues may not be the original program at all, but requiring use of a separate program call and causing the crash.
- Some of these instances are the original program trying to do something it's not authorized to do, and causing the error.
But insuring that all the linked programs that MWO depends on are updated and working correctly is a start.
- Quite a few issues are with C++, so get that updated first.
- Authorization access is paramount for this program and if windows is not allowing this at some point, it will crash the program. (Simply saving the game setting on exit, if not authorized to make changes to that file will do it.)
Again, there's not a one fix that works for all systems, unless it's a bad code issue in the original program. But with the number of users that do not have this problem, I'd say it's local to your machines. (and may be related)
Just some info,
