I am starting to build a set of Jagermechs for fire-support role, and am looking for [current] build ideas. I spent this month's gaming budget on a Firebrand and am running around with a Gauss and 2x ERPPC trying to get a hang of it [not going so well yet--people seem to focus the Jager ]. I know I want to end up with a long-range sniper, and an up-close LL/AC20, not sure about the rest of it. II could see using the JM6-A for quad-LRM5 to keep me from getting catapult later. Anything else? What else do I need to know? Thanks!

The engine isn't ideal, but it was "free" with the DD and I'm too cheap to buy a better one.

mix engine and DHS to suit. I think I use a 280xl or 300XL

Or drop the AMS and engine to a 260XL and use artemis on the launchers. You could remove the MGs and ammo for a 295XL, but it is a Jager and you need some Dakka.

Or drop down to a 200 XL
4 LRM 15's Yes you can fire 60 missiles at once. Interesting what it does to Locusts.

It can fit 8 tons of ammo if you strip 0.5 tons of leg or other armor (16 points)


You could use LRM 10's, but these builds avoid ghost heat and are lighter by 2 tons for launchers.

Haha, so my situation right now. Buying a new house in the spring, so she has me on budgetary lock down.
