If PGI added a "Limit by Mech Cost" game mode fielding a team of Urbies could be a winner!!!

Also if PGI introduced the low velocity "Long Tom" mortar gun and gave Urbies decent Jump Jets we could add "Urbie Dodge Ball" for another game mode.

Make the projectiles tracer rounds that light up as they fly for easier avoidance but give them splash damage on landing.

The only thing better (not cooler mind you) would include the Annihilator as the bonus mech. Although the Urbie should definitely be the choice for the Light Mech slot.

I already have an Urbie. He just happens to wear a powersuit like Samus, and goes by the handle 'Firebrand.'

There will be no Medium or Light poll. (Russ stated last night in the TH meeting that he has already chosen the light and medium mechs for the new IS pack and they should be "Slam dunk's") So 90s. I like it.

Anyone else think the next IS Pack is going to be "what the community decided by voting"? If I am wrong I would be surprised... but I feel it coming. King Crabs for anyone who bought top tier Phoenix/Founder and top tier IS Wave 3....

i believe you are right. And the runners up (mechs) will probably still be released as singles down the road. The reason I say this is for example... the poll on the Black Knight and Grasshopper. Well, why poll people if you dont already have those mech ready to go or at least in the pipe for release down the road. The one that wins will show up in the new IS pack and the one that dont will show up later as a single card mech or as a (reserves special) like with the Wolverine and Griffon in the Phoenix Mech packs.

This was touched upon in the Town Hall, actually. Basically, those are the mechs for which there is already, at least, concept art done for. And maybe a bit more. So, effectively, there is already enough work done on them to be a viable pick to go into the mech production pipeline on short notice.
