Also if PGI introduced the low velocity "Long Tom" mortar gun and gave Urbies decent Jump Jets we could add "Urbie Dodge Ball" for another game mode.

Make the projectiles tracer rounds that light up as they fly for easier avoidance but give them splash damage on landing.

The only thing better (not cooler mind you) would include the Annihilator as the bonus mech. Although the Urbie should definitely be the choice for the Light Mech slot.

The trouble is, many of us already have more than enough Mechs. What we're actually looking for are compelling reasons to use most of them. (And more maps, new game modes, and a compelling metagame.)
PokeMech burnout is upon us. The idea that we're just going to keep forking out $160 every few months for a new collection of chassis/hardpoints is not a sustainable business model.
uh, there is a lot coming. CW (maybe, finally, please god dont make me hurt you damnit). Maps. New game mode. CW.
Did I mention CW?
quirk pass for IS scrubtastic mechs.

We are at the bottom of the barrel, for era appropriate mediums.
The Assassin wins by default.

I already have an Urbie. He just happens to wear a powersuit like Samus, and goes by the handle 'Firebrand.'

This.
But don't worry... that means we'll probably find out all the sooner what the pack will contain. In the meantime, go vote on the heavy poll for which one you want!

Anyone else think the next IS Pack is going to be "what the community decided by voting"? If I am wrong I would be surprised... but I feel it coming. King Crabs for anyone who bought top tier Phoenix/Founder and top tier IS Wave 3....
Smart move Russ, well played.

This was touched upon in the Town Hall, actually. Basically, those are the mechs for which there is already, at least, concept art done for. And maybe a bit more. So, effectively, there is already enough work done on them to be a viable pick to go into the mech production pipeline on short notice.
