If the Summoner is any harbinger of the Hellbringer's hitboxes, the Hellbie is going to be a pain in the ass to kill. That torso design looks absolutely ideal for armor rolling, plus having 24.5 tons of pod space (after somewhat optimizing the armor) is respectable, even if 1 ton of it goes into the ECM. Spitballing, we could see a Hellbringer packing an ECM, 2 SRM4, 3 ERMLas, and 2 ERLLas with 22 DHS, or go full on laser vomit in the thing, while maintaining an ECM capability.

im going to say its going to be a clan orion protector, just with ECM. good hitboxes for rolling damage like you say (except its missles are in the RT instead of LT)
youll get a high torso mounted energy hardpoint in the LT (great for PPCs), ballistic in the RT, energy (probably lasers in the arms for tracking but with the freedom to run a pair or lb5s or something if thats what you like).
its going to be solid.

my biggest fear about the ice hamster/missing lynx is that they will be too tall. they are BOTH supposed to be taller than the nova and stormcrow @ 11m/10.6m respectively. im just kind of imagining a really fast trebuchet or something.

the gargoyle is simply put going to have 19 tons of podspace. thats just not alot for an assault. no go on 4erppc/4lpl. best you can squeeze in is 2lpl 4erml wich isnt bad or 4erll. looks like youll be able to do a guass or ac20 in one arm and then you have up to 6 energy as well 4 in the a arm 2 in the D torso but youd have to drop down to a ultra10 if you want to fill the energy with mediums and still have room for ammo or armor, maybe 2 mediums, 4 smalls? the stock C variant with a ultra20 and 6erml runs 422 armor and i dunno how much ammo.

I was confused until I realized you accidently typed part of your reply in the quote. XD

Yeah, but if the Ferret is closer to Vindi size, it could be absolutely solid. Lynx, I hope it will be Commando sized.

the loki is going to have roughly 23.5 tons of podsace (max armor), not 26.5, it has 13 DHS stock (3 in the engine). 22.5 with ECM. thats not a lot, but you have the freedom to do pretty much whatever youd like with it.

45 free slots mean you can fit basically anything were ever you want so that is a definite plus side and a diverse set of hardpoints although only 2 missle.

some possible builds:
7erml + ecm and 28dhs
mini clan atlas ddc with gauss/2srm6 in RT, 2x erml in the arms, + ecm
lb20x with 4mlas + ecm
2xlrm15 10t ammo 4 erml + ecm

or what i expect to be the new meta, ecm, 3 erml, 1 flamer (in the head for maximum terror) an lrm 20 and 6, yes six machine guns! open your opponents armor safely under the cover of ecm from range with the lrm 20, then as they close in to avoid the bombardment, leg them with the 21 pinpoint damage of your medium laser bank, shut them down with your head flamer, and then proceed to farm them for cbills mercilessly with the devastating power of 6 machine guns!!!

Maybe I am wrong so lets figure this out.

Per the TRO, the Loki has 28.5 tons of Pod space.

In MWO the prime removes the A-pods and replaces them with armor so we take 2 tons of the max pod space to start. This leaves is with 26.5 and gives us 320 armor.

Ok yeah, I see where your coming form. I am not counting max armor.

At max armor (416 armor), you will only have 23.5 tons to play with through I will probably ditch 8 armor per leg to get an even tonnage so lets say 24 tons. Still this isn't bad at all.

400 Armor
RA: 1 C-LPL
LA: 2 C-ER ML
RT: 3 C-ER ML, ECM
LT: 1 SRM6, 1.5 tons ammo (150)
22 DHS

Firepower: 58.6
Sustained DPS: 4.84
Cooling Efficiency: 35%

Yep your right, not much to work with there hehe. j/k.

Honestly I will have no problems taking this on a heavy mech mounting 400 armor that can run 89 kph and also mounts ECM in the torso.

So yeah, the Hellbringer is going to be a good mech despite the fact it doesn't mount FF or Endo, no question about that. The others in Clan Wave 2......maybe not so much.
