[151st Light Horse Regiment]

One of the most iconic clanmechs ever, and they derped it.

The Prime has just 3 hardpoints. It's impossible to load enough ammo for a fight.

It's meant to be one of the flagship clanmechs, but in reality, it's a poor mans blackjack.

Fix this

For some reason I read the thread title as "Summoner needs a serious butt."

That would have been a far more interesting discussion. Can we change this into a discussion of the level of the Summoner's need for butt? Personally, I think its butt-to-'Mech ratio is more or less correct, but I could see slimming it down a bit to see if we can't tweak up its shoddy hitboxes a bit.

Suckoner is quite sad.

Gargoyle will have even less tonnage, with only two extra DHS. At least it has more than 6 hardpoints.

I agree it is a little underwhelming. Thankfully you can switch omnipods are are not limited to only 3 hardpoints. I still have fun with my Summoners, though.

Can we give him a special ability were he calls out a kitclub mech equipped with 1 ER LL and maybe an SRM4? It would be AI controlled and do a little extra damage to make him a true summoner!

I'm quite sure, if I remember well, that you had one 2-3 months ago, and it was pretty cool.
I would like to make one similar for me. Do you remember where did you get it?

I photo-edited it from stock internet images and a morphed image of me...

I allowed my website to go udders-up so I lost all those images and signatures... I have to find a new host for them as I feel naked on the forum without it now!

Why not use anything but the Prime? I think the SMN-D is the best out of the three, even the stock loadout. I'd like more ballistics and energy hardpoints, though.

What kind of buff where you thinking of? More hardpoints? More tonnage to play with?

I saw a chart somewhere, and the Summoner had pretty low tons to play with.

No JJs so technically it has more tonnage for weapons.


Also, I just think the Summoner needs a few additional Omnipods introduced that give it a bit more build flexibility or perhaps just some hard point inflation in the existing Omnipods like making the Prime have 2 or 3 energy in its arm rather than just 1 energy.

Add an arm from the Summoner-F, and add the LT (I think? - it's that or the RT) of the Summoner-M. That'll improve the summoner's options.
