I still play this game mainly because of the Mechwarrior IP. If another game came out that gave a better experience, Id be playing it. All I really want is a mech, a dropship and the ability to run around the galaxy as a merc hiring out to fight.

You cant take mechwarrior and make it your word. Its my word. And so is battletech ya hear!

TT always pointed at the fantasy. That's right they are going backwards with MechWarrior pointed at the TT.
They should have been give complete canon override and make a battletech universe.

I've mentioned it in previous now archived threads so have others. I would prefer they aimed a simulator with even random damage or whatever more "realism". Advanced Paperdoll Where even your arm has its on "paperdoll" of parts.

One day someone is going to do it.

Or it would be real cool, I suppose a programmer's nightmare, if our mechs had actual virtual working engines, actuators ect.....Where your armor might have a hole from being shot with a lazer but unless a shot enters the exact damaged area it just hits full armor.

You know where there is "real" working parts. That might be like 20 years in the future.


Ideally TT should being trying to copy this game rather then other way around.
