Im trying to decide which is the best way of using several guns. Things like UAC5, UAC10 etc.

Using a DWF, firing 4 at once deals a fair bit of immediate damage, but then they stop. There sometimes seems to be a lag in them re-firing, and if 2 or 3 jam at any one time, you're stuck.

Firing one after the other results in far less jams and a constant stream of fire. I find this most effective at driving enemies back, because everyone runs away from a stream of dakka more than any other weapon.

WHat do you find is the best way of handling them?

I do a 3 UAC5 Jag and switch it around.

Early game when it's going to be longer ranges I like to do cycle fire so it's a constant stream of fire.

Once it's closed range a bit and I know it's going to be smack time I switch to group fire and go for double taps for a quick 30 points of damage (sometimes)

So yeah for my UAC's I tend to switch back and forth depending on the situation. If someone else is pounding on the target and the target is engaging them I also tend to like the chain fire version because of the constant smack and better chance of getting the kill shot in.

chain fire is physcological warfare, chainfiring 2uac2 makes people run for the nearest cover just from the noise of it. if you're grouping that, the effect is lessened to a degree

a term that comes to mind is "suppressive fire" the intent is not always to damage, just keeps them from returning fire by scaring the bajeezeus out of them. great for holding a position if your intent is not kills (conquest in center of terra therma or under HPG)

Tried a 2x UAc2 Kitfox today (because I was bored). It doesn´t do much damage, but it is funny to see everyone run for cover when you spam bullets (w chainfire).

Good for trolling. :P
