After several back-and-forths, Tech Support eventually told me this is a known issue and the support stopped there. That was months ago. Wondering if anyone has any ideas how I might do away with it:

Ever since I built my new computer in summer of 2013 I've been having ghosting of images when I move. This is NOT the motion blur effect. When I stand stand still and the mech I'm looking at stands still, everything looks beautiful and crisp. Either one of us starts moving and BAM! ghosting occurs.

Two items of possible diagnostic value: 1.) when I am moving along at cruising speed, my cockpit does is not ghosting. However, as soon as I come to a stop a ghost image of the interior of my mech pops out at me a little bit and then fades back into the original image. 2.) The landscape/environment does not ghost.

Example images follow:

Rig:
CPU: Core i5-3570K @4.2 GHz
GPU: GTX 780 Ti
MB: MSI GD65 somethingorother

Things I've tried:
Updating all drivers
Fiddling with resolution and every graphical variable available
Running the MWO repair tool

I'm just going to assume you have v-sync on. If not you will be running more frames than your monitors refresh rate. So there will be frames pretty much just getting dropped and you experience ghosting. Could also be caused (in rare cases) by cable interference. Try to keep your input cable away from other data carrying cables. I also recommend OCing your i5 to around 4.5-4.8 to ensure you never bottleneck that 780ti.

EDIT: This reply is from my experience with my r9 290. When I OC I turn off v-sync to see performance gains and ghost all over the place. But with v-sync on MWO only uses like 30-50% of my gpu.

This is likely poorly implemented AA, as has been discussed in detail elsewhere (see link above). I'd suggest adding your images to that thread to add your experience to that discussion.

Might be related to the anti-aliasing problem. See this: http://mwomercs.com/...aa/page__st__60
