On the subject.........one of the worse weekends I've had in months.
Rollstomp after rollstomp, either them or us.

I've only played a dozen battles since friday night, all have been 12/0- 12/4.
Late night to early morning, trying to find a zone where normal prevails. Just had three battles before the kids wake up, roll stomps 12/3. YAY, I was on the winning side....Mooooooooooo, it was boring and I took more team damage than the poor teams we slaughtered.
Insane team damage, players frantic to get a higher score for the contest.
I'll be back on the battlefield when this is over.

Single player games shows PGI has no idea what this game is about. They want to promote community warfare but continue to push single player challenges.


Single player challenges = booooooring.

PGI has no idea what the game is about?

they make mistakes, they overcorrect etc......but, what percentage of players (yes, meaning players who pay money) ONLY run solo?
I bet its higher than those who only play on teams/drops etc.

We started out about 15 strong a year ago, now down to 3-4. There is no way I'm going to drop with 2-3, its a guarantee stomp.
Drops of 3-4 are fillers for 8-12 man drops.
without solo events, this game would DIE in short order.

Just admit it, you have high enough ELO to be placed with baddies yet not high enough to actually fight the ELO thus fail miserably half of the games. Or you're just bad and ELO count you as a filler.

He'd almost have a point, but poor delivery, worse grammar and non-existent proofreading just pretty much ruined any chance of his underlying point being made.

well.. about a SOLO contest:



So many drops like this one. 80% of players belong to UNITS.

This means this Contest is taking away from ppl who usually drops as a Unit to have this stupid, boring, senseless contest.

Dropping PUG on this game Sucks, is boring, no communication, no fun, no friends....

Oh.. and just in case you are thinking I am complaining because I lose.. NO, I dont.. I won most of my drops.

That doesn t mean is fun at all anyway. I can score high, no problem with it:



But this doesn t really mean I have fun in this contest.

In fact, God Bless a few of the pilots in My unit, still willing dropping as a team and having fun.

I don t really need this kind of solo contest to know if I am a Worthy Opponent.. I am no one.. I am 1/12 of my team.

If the other 11 dropping with me suck, there is no Victory.

This game is not About YOU, is about the other 11 dropping WITH you.

I do appreciate your concern about a game should be CW and Team oriented and then falls in this kind of low level contests.

However, i do not see a Team Signature on your post. If you really want to change your experience while playing the game, join a Team.

We got many guys, coming from PUG experience and tired of this repetitive senseless gaming, joining us, to understand what happen when you communicate and you drop with others.

Learning MORE from ppl with higher skills and experience, Because being part of a Team means you will learn and we will TEACH.

There are no "Rich Sociopath" in our team, like some other smart mind likes to comment. We are really oriented to enjoy a game, be part of Active Community, play Leagues and Ladders, where there are rules of engagement to spicey up things.

So, I understand your complain about this, but you need to take an action.

JOIN A TEAM. Either us or any one else out there. There are so many teams..

Put your PUG experience behind your back.. and Get to another level of Gaming!

Bloody Stomp after Stomp for 5 God damn days now. Only got worse after the Tournament started.

Almost on the verge of quitting. When I drop I am now always expecting to be stomped. No fun.

No, the message is generally viewed as unimportant and overlooked if the messenger cannot be bothered to articulate it in an intelligible manner. If it was truly important, the OP should reflect that. By your general demeanor though in your posts, that is something you seem to fail to grasp.

Listen, here's how you understand battletech period - It's a team game. It doesn't require a signature indicating a team, it doesn't even require (I know, huge shock bishop) correct grammar, to understand what battletech is all about. It's been about team play since day 1, 1984. if you don't understand that, developer or player, than world of tanks if probably more your speed. Thanks for playing
