I like the sound of the Commando, and is it worth purchasing the Death's Knell as someone who already owns the Huginn?

If you enjoy lights at all the Death's Knell Is a must have. It is the fastest mech in the game and a ton of fun :D

Short answer: yes.

Less short, but still not exceptionally verbose answer: It's a completely different mech than the Huginn. It's an energy-boat, which iirc is the only thing the Huginn doesn't carry. So, you know, they don't really even compare.

You can't do that in a 2d they are under-powered.

YES! Nobody has noticed yet, but if you print MWO's EULA and then pass it over a candle you can briefly read a secret message: "Buy a TDK or your account may be terminated at any time without further notice!"

It might be that or me having played that mech the most .. :P

In all seriousness TDK might not be the most effective mech but if you like light mechs it's a blast, oh and it isn't the most effective but is nothing to joke about either.
