Hello everyone!
Anybody else getting thoroughly annoyed with that button in the lower right quadrant constantly blinking everytime someone logs on, logs off and otherwise? Used to be, it only blinked when you got an invite to a group. Great! Now, it blinks constantly as people log on and off, etc. To turn it off, you have to go click it and then close it again... at which point it starts blinking again as soon as you do.
I'm considering dropping my faction group and erasing my friends list just so it isn't constantly blinking... and that's just not cool when you're forming a group. Am I missing a way to turn that off so I only see it when I get an invite to a group?

It has a tendency to drive me bananas.
They need to remove the joins/quit and only have it flash if somebody posts something.

I like bananas.
Also yes it is annoying but so are things like the swarms of trial mechs littered around my 54 owned mechs

I especially hate it when I minimize the MWO client and it keeps blinking as a tab. Distracting as hell.

I see trial mechs as a good thing. With the champion sale, we should see owned versions now too. But trials mean new people playing, probably, which is good.
The button blinking is just annoying. Hopefully they fix that. I don't see the point the way it is now except that it makes me ignore it and thus miss some groups.

I solved the problem by removing everyone from my friends list. It no longer blinks.
