About a month ago I finally made it to the 100 mech club. My 100th mech was Sparky. Since then, with the help of the Mad Dog and the Harvest Moon sale, the number is up to 110. When the clan wave and remaining reward mechs hit my inventory I will hit 125, if I haven't bought a few more by then.

But I know there are people with many more than I have. In fact there were people well above 100 before the first clan pack came out.

So start throwing out some numbers.

Only 7060 (recently sold 10 unloved variants for cash).

I'm such a scrub.

Not sure off the top of my head, but I think I'll hit 100+ when all the Wave II clan mechs hit my account. I've got 3 empty bays right now, reserved for when the Hellslinger Battlemaster goes on sale (not paying full price for an assault class hero) and 2 more variants of the King Crab.

But if we get the Grasshopper I will gladly expand that by another 3... 6 if we get the Zeus as well.

124, no empty bays right now. Also, no reward cent, atlas, clan wave 2 or king crabs yet. So it will go up :)

Really though, I havent sold a single mech yet, EXCEPT, when we got that promo centurian, I sold the normal one I had and kept the promo one of the same variant.

Right now, there is ZERO incentive other then OCD to keep them all though. This is why I havent bought any more mechbays(last tiny bit of MC went to the sale one i bought last sale, before that it was ages ago). I don't see any reason to do so, and have been contemplating dumping a few moth ball light mechs for the bay space lately, along with the c-bill recources they are holding.

I ask on the boards for a dev response occasionally, once long ago there was talk about pilot tree perks for mastering all variants and owning said variants added to it some. but that was early open beta and I havent heard a peep since.

I have 150+, with 9 open mechbays.

I was foolish and brought mechs I didn't need just to complete sets. I stopped buying/procuring IS mechs before the Vindicator hit.

Mind you I'm Khan of Clan Diamond Shark : Diamond Shiver, love this game, my Clan, and play no other game so it's been easier to dedicate my time to this game.

Some fun facts, all my non hero mechs were purchased with Cbills, and except for 3 chassis they all have the golden master symbol (clans and IS).

If I didn't sell the ones I hate, I'd be well over 100. Does that count?

woah i only have a clan wave one package, and yet the size and organisation of the mechbay is a pain. 100 and I would go completely mad trying to find some mechs.

To be fair, it's better than scrolling through them all on that 1 row scroll bar we had before. That was a pain. One of the main reasons I started selling mechs I knew I'd never use again.

I've got around 40 or so.

However, I sell off the variants that are crappy and the ones I won't use. I don't like unnecessary clutter and prefer to see only mechs I will play.

113, 105 of which are unique variants, 21 open mechbays at the moment. I've only ever sold half a dozen. Who knows what the meta and quirk systems may bring?

I am sitting at 80 right now with 2 open bays for KGCs. Reward Atlas and Cent incoming, and Wave 2 as well...

By the end of wave 2, looking at 97 mechs total counting the KGC and 2 variants for cbills.

Had I kept everything, I would have:

3 Dragons I sold
1 K2 I sold
3 Quickdraws I sold
1 Wolverine (6K) I sold
1 Victor (9K) I sold
1 Atlas (RS) I sold
1 CTF (1X) I sold
3 Blackjacks I sold
1 Vindicator I sold
3 spiders I sold
2 locusts I sold
2 Ravens I sold
1 Commando I sold
2 Orions I sold

That would put me at 108 now...

I've had 3 (picked up a 4th variant for a couple mechs) variants of every mech except Griffins, Wolverines, Vindicators, and now Maddogs. I've sold some that I wasn't a fan of after leveling, and also picked up a few doubles for stock mech Mondays. Currently at 128 mechs with another 39 open mech bays. Variety is what keeps me playing after nearly 10,000 matches.

Mechs in bays, or total purchased? There is a significant difference between those two numbers for a few of us.
